Walking in was an instant hit of atmosphere and a place where home made Pennsylvania Dutch cooking is the “main thrust” of this quaint, but busy restaurant! I had the best scrapple ever with the potato filling with shoe fly pie as a take home dessert, since the meal was so filling. This is a restaurant that is not afraid to feed you and feed you well with “wonderful good” food. We will be going back!

Deitsch Eck is a great place to get a filling Pennsylvania Dutch meal after a day of hiking at the Pinnacle. Located a short distance from interstate 78 in the quaint town of Lenhartsville, the restaurant is decorated with hex signs. The atmosphere was great and the food very good. Our server was very nice and took the time to explain one of the decorations but it was very busy. The gravy on the breaded veal cutlets was very tasty and the fresh cut fries were delicious. The menu offered a lot of options but the kitchen was out of a few things. Parking was also a little tight due to location on the corner Very nice experience.

Friendly restaurant serving a unique blend of traditional Pennsylvania Dutch dishes, some with unique twists. Traditional art on the walls adds to the atmosphere. Reservations strongly recommended

We were passing through and needed a place to eat. We googled restaurant near me as we were passing by on rt 78 and this restaurant came up. What a pleasant surprise. Authentic Dutch food and atmosphere. Waitress was a Dutch woman and the history of the place so interesting Nothing fancy but food was good and inexpensive and the people were very hospitable. The fried beef steak with gravy was huge. Really enjoyable
