Deitsch Eck is a great place to get a filling Pennsylvania Dutch meal after a day of hiking at the Pinnacle. Located a short distance from interstate 78 in the quaint town of Lenhartsville, the restaurant is decorated with hex signs. The atmosphere was great and the food very good. Our server was very nice and took the time to explain one of the decorations but it was very busy. The gravy on the breaded veal cutlets was very tasty and the fresh cut fries were delicious. The menu offered a lot of options but the kitchen was out of a few things. Parking was also a little tight due to location on the corner Very nice experience.

Friendly restaurant serving a unique blend of traditional Pennsylvania Dutch dishes, some with unique twists. Traditional art on the walls adds to the atmosphere. Reservations strongly recommended

We were passing through and needed a place to eat. We googled restaurant near me as we were passing by on rt 78 and this restaurant came up. What a pleasant surprise. Authentic Dutch food and atmosphere. Waitress was a Dutch woman and the history of the place so interesting Nothing fancy but food was good and inexpensive and the people were very hospitable. The fried beef steak with gravy was huge. Really enjoyable

Everything about our meal was perfect! The roast beef was the most tender and honestly the best I've ever had. The coleslaw, hot bacon dressing and homemade bread were highlights, too! Staff was attentive and nice! We can't wait to go back! Wish we lived closer!

Excellent Penn. dutch food in a very old restaurant. Very good menu selection with friendly wait staff. It is a BYOB restaurant with wonderful home made pies for dessert. Highly recommended and make a reservation to assure a table.

I’m not from the area so this was a real treat. Great atmosphere and service. The mint iced tea was great and I don’t even like mint. The scrapple bites were crunchy and flavorful, really good. I really enjoyed my chicken bowl dish. The sauerkraut is really tangy and authentic. Definitely coming back!

This restaurant is NO JOKE! I was pleasantly surprised by each dish I tried. It is familiar fare to me, but done with such care. The chocolate cake with peanut butter icing was LIFE CHANGING! It was the single best taste experience I have had in my lifetime and I would bet money I will NEVER taste anything this good again. TRY IT!!!
