The food was delicious! The server was nice and as attentive as she could be but it was busy and they definitely did not have enough help. It took a long time to place our order and then a long time to get our order. I would go back though, the food is too good to pass up and the beer was cold while we waited.

I was traveling between Kinzua Dam and the Bridge, and read online about the pierogies here. I wandered in up to the bar, and a very nice lady took my order within a minute of me being there. Overall i was waiting probably about 20 minutes for my food. The atmosphere was relaxed, everyone was friendly, and the other customers all seemed to be getting helped in a timely manner.I got the sour cream & chive pierogies, and I wanted to try the breaded shrimp, but they were out so I got the pulled pork sandwich instead. Honestly my very first impression of the food was "yeah this is alright". The pork was a little dry and the pierogi was a pierogi, though admittedly it was maybe too hot still to really enjoy. So i took another bite of the sandwich with the pickle, and continued onto the bridge. After a few minutes of driving, it hit me: the food was actually really flippin' good. Once i got into the sauce and toppings on the sandwich, the flavors went really well together and the dryness of the pork was perfectly fine. Honestly I wouldn't let that deter you from trying the sandwich, as it could've just been just that particular batch and the time of day, and it was absolutely delicious otherwise. I still had a few bites left when i got home that night, and absent-mindedly nuked it in the microwave for a minute and a half. The pork got REALLY dry after that, but i still finished it because it still tasted good.As far as the pierogies, I was left with the realization that I apparently had a pierogi-shaped hole in my soul, that these wonderful pierogies had filled. They had a nice little crunch on the bottom and the potatoes were creamy and had that texture of being actually real. The drive to the bridge was only 20 minutes, but I pulled over halfway there to eat a couple more because I didn't wanna wait.I hope to be in the area again next summer, and I will definitely make sure to stop here for lunch or dinner. I tipped kinda high for how much i spent, and I have absolutely no regrets, it was worth it.

I believe I said it before but I'm big on trying new places when out of town. Usually I get my info from word of mouth. In this case the suggestion of Tack's Inn came from the kind ladies in the Kinzua Bridge gift shop.I always enjoy places that provide local musical entertainment. The GrooVe Bros provided some great music and Tack's Inn provided some delicious food. Just a enjoyable day exploring the area. We were filled and happy.
