Went for breakfast, I had really good Eggs Benedict and my son a waffle & chicken sandwich. Service was very good too. Seemed a lil on the expensive side, but again service and food was very good…I would definitely go back again when in Lewisburg!

My husband and I were in the area and were looking for something different to try. We saw that this restaurant had pretty good reviews online and decided to try it out. When we both pulled up, we weren't sure what we were getting into. While there was a sign that said open and it seemed like there were people working on the farm, it didn't seem like from outside there was anyone in the store /restaurant area. Plus, the outside front area was a little lacking... Once we were inside though, we were definitely surprised. The entrance leads you into a cute little store area. Inside are all kinds of goodies from the farm and other local places. The restaurant area is in the back. It was definitely not what we expected. The decor was farmhouse yet modern. The menu had quite a few great options. We both had one of the burgers, which we both very much enjoyed. Employees were welcoming and friendly. If we are in the area, we will definitely visit again!

Interesting menu, outstanding food, friendly service, reasonable prices. Banty Rooster never disappoints!!
I normally don’t post photos of my meal, but I’ll make an exception for this amazing Hot Honey Salmon BLT with home cooked potato chips!

The service was horrible. Waited at least 30 minutes just to be seated, watching a line of impatient customers waiting just to pay their bill at the door to leave. But it only went downhill from there. Tons of hair in my food and when I politely mentioned it to a waiter, she claimed that it wasn’t the restaurants fault. No new plate, no refund, absolutely nothing. So I figured I wouldn’t even bring up the ice cold wings that I was served. Couldn’t even have my glass of water refilled until I was ready to walk out. It was overall just an awful experience, especially for a family members night out to eat as a birthday gift. Prices also through the roof!! It is a cute place so I was rather disappointed. I could go on but it’s not worth any more of my time. I’m not typically one to leave a petty bad review, but I’m just not impressed.

They have completely changed the offerings for fall activities. No hay ride. Kids can’t play on the very basic playground for free anymore, even that area has an entry fee. The pumpkins were all the same size which made it difficult for younger kids to enjoy. $6 to walk 2 minutes into a mowed field to pick up a pumpkin. Then $10 per child to play on a playground. No feeding goats anymore. No food trucks on site. It has really gone down hill. It was empty when normally it would have a packed parking lot. We have been going for 10 years. No Mima for sale. Nothing.
Almost all the food served is grown or raised on the farm. And, get this, the cook is the owner, and it shows in the quality of the food. Very often pretty full, if not full. Sundays are all you can eat brunch, and pretty amazing just to behold and smell!

$16 a person to play on the playground. Pumpkins pre pulled without any hay ride.
This place has gone downhill. Relying too much on Lewisburg money to just pay.
Much better experience literally anywhere else.

We visited the "fun" experience, pumpkin patch and corn maze today. The only good thing was it was not busy and easy parking. When we approached the ticket booth there was no sign for prices and what was included. It is $16 for anyone over 2yo. This gains you access to a rotting wood playground, soccer ball pool with fresh cut lumber scraps, zip line that even the smallest of kids can't ride, giant slide with a rude staff at the top, a basket ball game with flat balls, corn shooting that takes forever to gain pressure after each shot, and a corn maze with no map. Needless to say, our kids were bored and we decided to do the water mining (another fee). It was hot today, concession stand was out of water for a period of time. Then to end it all, I followed my three year old down the old green tunnel slide and sliced my hand open on the way down. We decided to leave and the kids spent 3.5 hours at McDonald's playplace where it was cheaper and they had more fun. Every game was old and poor quality. The old Ard's experience was the true fun experience; today's experience was a nightmare.
Attended the fall maze and park, and was highly Disappointed. People at the front didn’t know what was included in the price, no signage displaying anything. The play area appeared as though it hadn’t been tended to in months. Different activities seem to be just put together this morning, and scrap wood was just laying around. Also, the booth ran out of water, and the day was not busy. Very disappointed, definitely not what it used to be and will NOT be returning.
Unfortunately, since ownership changed a few years ago everything here has gone significantly downhill.

We purchased boxed lunches for a large marketing meeting and they were absolutely wonderful. A nice variety and a large portion in each one. We will definitely be purchasing again in the future.

We went to Banty Rooster for their brunch buffet and were extremely disappointed. The food was barely warm and very mediocre. On the bright side the coffee and bacon were both pretty good.
