Really enjoyed our meals. Plenty of food for the money. Very tasty too. A nice diversion from chain restaurants with comfortable atmosphere. Definitely look forward to going there again next time we are in the area.
We came in right before close and the staff was so kind and accomodating. The truffle burger and prime rib cheesesteak were both delicious!!
They can accomodate gluten allergies and the menu is marked. The burger was made with a GF bun. The fries and chips are in a shared fryer so I had to opt for a salad which was delicious.
Super thankful to have found this little place while visiting Lewisburg.
Was my 1st time there, will definitely go back. I got just a cheese burger and fries very good. Will get the buffet the next time. It's small but looked good. Also I didn't know at the time I was there but you can purchase wine and take it to your table to enjoy.
We tried the dinner buffet and were very disappointed. The buffet was over priced for what they had to offer. The food wasn't anything special. Had mac and cheese, beans, pizza, Buffalo wings...which I question if it came from the freezer section and/or canned/pre packaged items. I think the hardest part was that it cost $18, a buffet like that I would realistically price at $11.99-13.99 tops. Not one to leave reviews often but I thought it needed addressed. Additionally the place was clean and looked cute.
Justin has knocked it out of the park with the BBQ Buffet. Pulled pork, BBQ pork, smoked brisket, hot sausage with peppers and onions, mac and cheese, baked beans and 2 different kinds of wings plus a salad bar with 2 soups all for a very reasonable price! 😲 I just wish I could give it 10 stars! This is a must-visit restaurant!
We found our newest favorite place!! The staff were very friendly & food was AMAZING!! We will definitely be back!! Would recommend trying if you haven’t done so!
The food was good and the waitress was very friendly. The only thing I didn't care for is the homemade chips they tasted burnt. It would be nice if they offer frys instead of chips.
Food was good but over priced

Lame. Used to be the nicest hayride in the area, this year it's a walk through a patch in the cornfield. It's just a patch of grass with a bunch of precut pumpkins strewn about. Was charged $24, more than last year's hayride which was a relaxing and enjoyable hour we looked forward to. As soon as my wife realized there was no ride she asked me, "can we get a refund"?
Was looking to take my son and his friend to enjoy the mine (rock wash) again this year. Was told it would be another $64 to enter the "park", plus another $10 per bag to participate. There's literally nothing else inside except the goat. No, I don't want to pay nearly $100 to pet your goat. Walked out immediately.
Sad. Not like Ard's used to be. Northill Orchard has a beautiful farm nearby, go there if you're looking for a nice hayride with family.
For 2 people we got charged $50 for just the corn maze and didn't get a single thing for it. No Map, nothing just paid and told us to go

It can get pretty busy here, but for good reason! The food is delicious and my daughter loves to visit the seasonal activities!!

I was not impressed with their salad bar. They were out of a lot and it took awhile to get things filled. The taste just was not there. They had sloppy Joe burger but did not have bread for it. They had pulled pork that looked dried out and did not look good and of course no bread. The food on the table was not labeled, so the burger that I thought was taco meat was actually sloppy Joe meat. Very disappointed.

Do not go here if you are Black. Everyone stares, the staff is rude, and we have been told we couldn’t be seated twice.
Update:
I received a reply from the business that assumed that I arrived late (after 2:30) - but this is not the case. Here is the context for my review. Last fall, I brought a group of students (mostly Black) to Ards farm to buy pumpkins and to eat at the Banty Rooster ON TIME. Everyone stared at me and the students like we shouldn’t be there and the staff was beyond rude in both seating and serving us. No one checked to see if we needed anything and we felt rushed to leave. That was instance one.
Instances two and three were when me and my partner weren’t seated for brunch. We arrived before 2:30. Only once was during the corn maze. The other time was over the summer - so what is the excuse there?
I do not expect an apology, but I also don’t like the tone in their reply. You can say you accept everyone, but if you don’t do it in practice and I share my experiences, you cannot override those by being defensive.
As I said before. Do not go here.

We had not been to the Banty Rooster since it reopened. Our food was really good. Everything else was a bit off. We tried to make a reservation for 10 for brunch, but we're told they only take dinner reservations. Part of our party arrived early to get on the wait list. We were asked why we did not make a reservation. It was almost 90 minutes to be seated and most of an hour until we were served. It seemed a bit under staffed. The employee at the cash register was rude to a member of our group trying to purchase candy. Everyone working there seemed stressed. Food was very good though.

The Ards pumpkin experience you know and love is dead. No hay ride. A 2 acre plot of pre-picked pumpkins to choose from which is not very exciting. $16 per person (no children discount) for a corn maze with less attractions than previous years. Hopefully they take some of these reviews to heart and restore the magic.
