“I live in Lexington NC I had a friend visit some family in PA over the weekend, and they brought back donuts from WILLOW STREET CAFE IN LIBERTY PA. I wanted to give a review they are so yummy and still so fresh by the time they got to me here in Lexington NC. I live in NC where there is a Krispy Kreme and they are good but Willow Street Café is definitely so much better. I wish we had them here in NC. Next time my friend goes to PA I will definitely half to get me a box or two for my self.”
“The food was great! Service was great! Prices are great! We went on a Friday night because my husband and son wanted their seafood dinner, I got chicken fingers and Mac and cheese; everything was delicious... We definitely didn't leave there hungry!!”
“They're a very friendly and familiar restaurant, accessible to truckers, and with waitresses who greet you like you've been coming there every week for the last 25 years. Nestled in the Allegheny mountain range of the Susquehanna trail, the morning sunlight streams into the homestyle restaurant and warms your soul. The portions were surprisingly big, and though A la carte does add up, you really only need one side with your omelet. Home fries are done on the flat top, sausages come in disks. This was exactly what I need in the middle of my 600 me day. I will definitely be stopping through next time I come by.”
“Amazing bartenders, super friendly, no drama, board member was awesome to help us, and the best food I've had at any American Legion anywhere. It was packed because they are consistent and stable with both food and hours. Talked with so many people and it is THE American Legion everyone loves!!! Thank you so much to all of you for a fun, stress free, drama free night out!! We will definitely be returning.....”
“Cheap drinks - like my gin and tonic was $3.50ish in a baby glass. Smoking in the whole bar. Food was ok/good. The have crackies. The pull tab games. Skills machines. Bartenders are friendly. Bar and tables. Order at window and they bring food over when ready.”
“Music is good on radio or Muzak I don't know which one. My mom asks me to get a pizza for her. They almost know her order. Pretty good prices, friendly staff and they keep it really nice and clean.”
“Stopped to grab cold 6-packs to go on the way to camp. They did not accept cards, but had an ATM onsite. After leaving, we looked at the menu and are hoping to stop back in sometime to try food the next time we're in the area.”
“Decent place to stop for Subway on route north. It's not immediately off the highway but just around the bend. The staff was nice. This location shares building with a convenience store. There's seating to eat too.”
“I always stop in here when I'm in the area. It's such a nice little place. There are so many interesting items that you won't find in your local Walmart. Unique place to shop and eat.”
