The waitress was wonderful and I loved the decor/atmosphere. Very cozy. It was on the expensive side for the food we received. The Rueben had good meat but sauerkraut wasn’t sour enough and bread was a little soggy. The fettuccine with broccoli was good but needed more flavor. Broccoli was cooked nice and tender.

The food was OK. Was excited to try considering I am always reading about the chef specials online. I was very disappointed to learn they don't actually have a chef. They adopted the persona from the previous owners whom didn't have a chef either. They use the term just so they can charge more.

Nice place to eat in Ligonier. Has a wonderful view on their porch and the decor is excellent. Food is a little pricey but generally worth it. Drinks are great and so is the service. Staff were friendly and the wait for food was relatively short. We were seated almost immediately. Definitely worth checking out if you’re ever in the area.

We tried to eat at two other places before stopping at the Road Toad on our way home. I am here to tell you that I am glad that the other places didn’t work out. We left one establishment where we were actively ignored by the staff to the Road Toad where we were welcomed with open arms and smiles. Our waitress was fantastic-happy and attentive. And the food was delicious (shout out to John S in the kitchen for making us a delicious dinner). The bruschetta chicken was very tasty, and they were accommodating to my gluten allergy. Everything we had was very fresh and tasty. We will be back with friends.

Very disappointed in our meals tonight. Husband ordered the 57.00 steak medium. It came out and looked barely cooked no char marks or seasoning. He sent it back and it looked like they put it in the microwave to get it hot. He didn't complain again we just won't be back. I had the shrimp special. The shrimp were ok. The slaw was bitter and the brussel sprouts had no seasoning at all. For 97.00 the food should have been much better and presented better.
