We were there for the Fire & Ice festival, and were disappointed to be handed a special menu for the festival, which was quite limited. We ate in the dining room section, thinking it would be quieter than the bar. The noise level was so high we couldn't hear each other speak without yelling. While the ambience is lovely, both the food and service were disappointing. The almond flounder was dry, and it was difficult to spot the almonds. We asked for lemons after flagging the server down, midway through the meal.
Super friendly and efficient service in a comfy atmosphere with yummy comfort food on this chilly eve. We loved the chicken & leek pie, shepard's pie & the wings. We'll definitely return!
