“Had two sandwiches, the Reuben and a chicken salad on cranberry walnut bread. Delish. Other restaurants could take lessons from them on how to make a Reuben. Where they fell short was with the overpriced drinks, Autumn rum runner and a martini. The martini came with a 2" square ice cube and not much drink. They need to take lessons from Penn's Tavern Restaurant on how to make a rum runner. No one has beat theirs yet.”

“My wife and I had lunch at Chilangos today, the food was amazing. My wife loved her Shrimp Enchiladas, and I had the best Birria Tacos I've ever eaten. Lots of meat, which melted in my mouth. Tortillas were fried crispy, and I loved the grilled onions/chilis and cilantro/onions that were served on the side. Service has always been great when we eat there.”

“We have been going there for decades. Generous portions (at good prices) give at least one more meal from leftovers. Rarely have room for the good-looking desserts, but when we do, they are great. Vegetables often disappoint, but a double order of the excellent fries provides potatoes with our eggs the next morning.”

“One of Lancaster County's greatest hidden treasures is the White Swan Restaurant in Rothsville, PA. If you like great food, great service and an uplifting atmosphere , this is the place for you. Drew, the owner/chef who runs things, does an incredible job and he has helped make the establishment as close to the TV show Cheers, as possible. His family all chip in to make it a gem of the county. I have frequented the Swan many times over the years and have been a regular at their Thursday night trivia for the past 14 years. Chelsea takes care of the bar and is fantastic and Elena and Shannon take care of the waitress duties during trivia night. They are the best!!! And Mike D brings his infectious charm as host of trivia. So if you want good food, reasonable pricing and just a great place to hang out, the White Swan is the place for you. You will not be disappointed!!”

“I visited this shop recently and fell in love. The owner, Diane, makes a wide variety of tasty, healthy and refreshing kombucha. She took great care to explain things to me and my daughter during our visit and recommended flavors we might like based on our tastes. In addition to kombucha, her shop features locally made art from various artisans. I went in the shop not being a fan of kombucha, but left with a 4-pack of booch and a whole new appreciation for it. Highly recommend!”

“Had dinner here on a Sunday night during a heavy rain storm in July. The kind staff let us wait it out after closing. The food was amazing, get the farm pizza! We loved it so much we went back the next night for takeout. Salad was delicious, pizza was great.”

They’re one of the few places these days that offer samples. Prices at this location have stayed fairly consistent without any alarming price jumps. Free ice for the first day of spring is always a great treat!”

Unfortunately for us, we went inside to enjoy the two scoops of ice cream in some warmth, sat at a remote table and, literally a few minutes later, were asked to leave. Obviously the same name and building, but the ice cream business does not work interactively with the restraunt. We were not impressed.”

“It's nice to have a place nearby to get Philly pretzels. For the uninitiated, do not expect an Auntie Ann's style buttery soft pretzel. These are dense, chewy, not sweet and even have their own special oblong shape. I really like them and would encourage you to try them if you like pretzels...just know they are their own thing. (And also, I would highly recommend mustard on them).”

“I only recently tried Mick's and I loved it. Love the pizza in particular. Typically, when I try a restaurant with only one or two items I will eat. As someone with severe food sensory issues, I love that there are so many items on the menu that I can eat! Pizza is my go-to but I am branching out and trying other dishes. I haven't tried anything I didn't like yet. Loving the Shepherds Pie today!!!”
