This is not something I normally would do but I want this to go back to the owners. Food was great server was amazing but she was super overwhelmed. She had every table full and a line. She had no help from the ladies who were on and off their phone behind the counter. Our server was crying at one point bc of how overwhelmed she was. When we first sat down at the counter an older lady came up for a box and the lady behind the counter rudely said to her “yea your server will bring it”. The tone in the ladies voice when speaking to a customer was the first thing we heard when we sat down. We were waiting at the counter for 10 mins before the server had time to get to us. While the other ladies were again in the phone or standing there doing nothing. They could have seen at any point how busy their coworker was and offered to take our drink order food or whatever but they never did. While the barista was making coffees she’s keep passing them over me to the customers while I was eating. I get it’s the counter that we choose to eat out but I don’t think that was ok. Myself & my friend who was with me worked back at coffee co 10years ago when they only had one location and we both were saying that what we were watching Jon & Heidi would have never allowed. When the server gave us the check I reassured her that she was doing and amazing job and gave her a big tip. But my tip to everyone else is that To create an amazing atmosphere team work and kindness goes along way.

Stopped in for breakfast. Food was fresh and tasty-reasonable as well. Atmosphere was comfortable with a modern with a touch of rustic feel. Very clean. Specialty coffees were good (cappuccino & ginger snap chi tea latte). Children's menu was also reasonable. High chair available. Service was on point.

Unfortunately, I was advised that I would be asked to leave the restaurant, if a person came in to dine and wanted the table at which I sat, whereas I only purchased a latte. This is unwelcome. After years of enjoying this place, even an amazing relationship with the owner’s cousin and having brought numerous guests to dine in, I find myself surprisingly hurt at their prioritization of profit over serving a community, while I was willing to pay for enough coffees to likely cover a dine-in profit. I believe in the long run, this requirement is an effective way to destroy customer loyalty. I will avoid this location futuristically.

Very great place! Good hospitality. I was in the area for work, while being my first time in Leola. The manager made us feel very welcomed, while we had coffee and hung out a bit while waiting for a client to get back to us in the area. Highly recommend! Thank you once again!

Found huge chunks of egg shells in my omelette that I order this morning. I mean very poor quality it wasn’t even little pieces it was huge pieces of egg shells that would be noticeable. Very disappointed especially for paying almost $16 just for an omelette and toast

The food is great here however today 2/11/25 we walked in it wasn't busy as it normally is. i noticed plenty of open tables and available employees looking at us as we stood for 10 minutes waiting to be seated. So unfortunately we left to find a new favorite spot
