Truly, the best bagels in Lancaster County might be found at Dosie Dough.
The bagels are the closest I've found to a proper NYC bagel since I moved to the area a decade ago: proper blistered crust, just the right chew, lovely flavor (I tried the plain and pumpernickel varieties and would recommend both.) The coffee beverages were also excellent, and there is a wide variety of baked goods to satisfy a range of sweet tooth desires.
The shop was absolutely packed and a bit chaotic, but the staff was friendly and managed the chaos well, just be aware that if you go in on a weekend, you might not find anywhere to sit right away.

There wasn’t much left in the bakery case when we arrived, they had a busy morning prior. Would never fault a business for being successful. We enjoyed a cranberry orange scone and a tuna sandwich. The scone was lovely, and the tuna sandwich was loaded. Great time, look forward to trying more from them.

First time in and was glad that we stopped. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly.
Great variety of tasty treats, fresh breads, sandwiches and hot/cold drinks.
The food we got was delicious and priced appropriately.
Only reasons for the 4 star was the our order was slightly messed up. I would also recommend labeling the sandwiches of an order so people do. It have to open them and touch all the sandwiches to see which is which.

I recently ordered a Dosie Dough Long John Cake to take to a Fall Fest event in Allentown. I felt that it would be a dish representative of Lancaster County. I asked that it be decorated in a Fall theme. I picked the cake up on Saturday morning and was floored by how absolutely perfect it was and far exceeded my expectations. I was amazed that there were quite a number of guests that had never heard of a long John but there were quite a number of phones pulled out and photos taken when I placed it on the dessert table. I state unequivocally that the cake was by far the favored dessert and people were thanking Mary and I all through the day. Thank you Dosie Dough for always putting quality first. From your great Breakfast items (breakfast burrito no meat extra hot sauce) my personal favorite, to your delicious dessert selection and your always hot always fresh coffee selection you are certainly a Lancaster County Icon.

September 2025 This bakery smells wonderful the moment you walk in, and their bagels and donuts are always fresh and delicious. The staff is so cheerful and friendly, and service is surprisingly fast considering how long the line can get during busy morning hours.
I stop here occasionally when I ride my bicycle to Lititz, and I’ll grab a coffee and a small bite to eat. The prices are very reasonable for the quality you get, and they also keep a very clean bathroom, which shows their attention to detail and genuine concern for their customers.
Food was so so and drinks normal. Ordering was crazy confusing but still a really cute gem to visit. If you love pantries then its a much visit!!!
