Took the tour with 2 of my friends today. The knowledgeable staff was interesting to listen to. There were many articles and stories and artifacts to view and we got to twist our own pretzel!

Got there at 4pm on a Saturday with only one hot pretzel left to purchase. It was very lacking and left a lot to be desired. Not worth the drive.

Visiting this place and getting your picture taken behind the big pretzel out front is a MUST when visiting Lititz. They also have tons of Lititz merchandise- including an “I 🥨 Lititz magnet” if you’re in the market for one of those- which I was 🙃

On a very busy October Friday in Lititz drew us to this fascinating piece of Lancaster County history. The very reasonably priced tour provided history not only of the town, but how and why Julius Sturgis Hard Pretzels were invented.

The 25 minute tour provided history, legends, and a hands-on activity of how to twist a pretzel. Lots of family-friendly fun! Their small store is crammed with all kinds of goodies. A bonus - the chocolate used to cover the pretzels is provided by another local, historical icon - Wilbur Chocolate.

Very nasty people. The tour was nice but the manager there was a horror. Tells our group we can go to the gift shop and the workers wouldn’t let us purchase anything . They had five mins before closing. Very rude people. It ruined the experience .

Couldn't do the tour the day we were there because they were filming for PA tourism, but soft pretzels were delicious. The staff was delightful.

We took the tour. It is not expensive ($7 per adult, $5 for seniors and children). It is half an hour. You make a pretzel with dough but it does not get baked. The pretzels are not made at this location anymore so you see what it looked like before. Tour is more for adults than children. They overstuffed our tour. At the end, they give each person a bag of hard pretzels. Then there's a shop with chocolate-covered pretzels, etc. Soft pretzels are made there, $2 apiece and they're pretty good. I'm and it on 40 minutes. Interesting if you're nearby anyway, don't drive for it

Took the tour here about a year ago with Kathy as our guide, and she was fantastic: enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and really friendly. The tour was short but informative, with plenty of interesting history packed into a fun experience that works for all ages. It’s definitely something worth doing once, and I’d happily stop back in for their warm, soft pretzels and other treats from the gift shop. The building itself is neat to see, and the pretzels alone make it worth the visit if you're in the area.

Stopped by the old pretzel factory for an engaging tour and history of pretzel making. Educational and nice, well supplied gift store offering many kinds of pretzels for sale. Family recommended. Cost was $5 per person. Soft and hard pretzels available.

NOT TODDLER FRIENDLY! Old women shushing my toddlers - 3 inches away from their face.

Stopped in on the way home from Lebanon and was able to pick up hot freshly baked pretzels, chocolate covered pretzels with either peanut butter or caramel, and a pretzel magnet for our frig!
Pretzels are not like the Philly style we're used too rather softer and doughier with what could be a wheat based flour? None the less they were very good and we're making them last a few days.
I didn't have time for the tour but enjoyed to old world charm of the store, staff was super nice!
