Took the tour with 2 of my friends today. The knowledgeable staff was interesting to listen to. There were many articles and stories and artifacts to view and we got to twist our own pretzel!

Visiting this place and getting your picture taken behind the big pretzel out front is a MUST when visiting Lititz. They also have tons of Lititz merchandise- including an “I 🥨 Lititz magnet” if you’re in the market for one of those- which I was 🙃

On a very busy October Friday in Lititz drew us to this fascinating piece of Lancaster County history. The very reasonably priced tour provided history not only of the town, but how and why Julius Sturgis Hard Pretzels were invented.

The 25 minute tour provided history, legends, and a hands-on activity of how to twist a pretzel. Lots of family-friendly fun! Their small store is crammed with all kinds of goodies. A bonus - the chocolate used to cover the pretzels...
