We saw it was about 5pm and needed a light snack before dinner. We looked at the happy hour menu on your website and the food and prices looked like it met our needs. When I got the bill though it was as triple the prices on the website happy hour. I asked the bartender and he just rolled his eyes and said I guess it’s not updated. He should have said I’ll honor the website since you came in because of what you reviewed. He also looked annoyed when I had asked to have a table cleared.

Management should make sure the website matches the menus or honor the lower prices that brought you in. That’s not fair to your customers!!

We stayed at Hotel Rock Lititz and this place is located in the lobby. They're usually opened until midnight on the weekends, which is great for after a show at Mickey's Black Box, which is on the same grounds. Most of the seating area is closed after a certain time, but we were able to get a small table and went to the bar to order drinks/food. You get a buzzer so when your food is ready you can go up to the bar to get it. We ordered 2 beers, smashed fingerling potatoes, fried Brussels sprouts and truffle tries all for just $44 before tip. Nice stop after the show for a quick bite before heading to the hotel room. Bartenders were friendly.

The food was great! The atmosphere was very nice. I was expecting the food to be normal, but ended up being very surprised at the quality and taste of the food.

It took an hour to get our food. We were told they 'ran out of pizza'. Our waitress had to be reminded to bring our iced tea and soda after 20 mins. When the main meal finally came, our food was room temp/cold. Likely the reason it took so long to get was because it was sitting in the back getting cold. And it wasn't just one plate/mistake, it was everyone's. The steak poutine was terribly plated. It was a large bowl of french fries with about 3-4oz of steak at best. The 'gravy' was not gravy, just about a tablespoon of liquid aus jus that barely covered anything. And there was virtually no cheese to be seen. Another party member had a cold burger, and two others had lukewarm steaks and cold mashed potatoes. The look of the place was very nice, but the noise was way over the top. We couldn't hear each other speak, and the waitress stood on one side of the table to take orders instead of coming around to each person, requiring us to shout at her. In all, our experience was horrible. The manager was nice enough to discount our bill and offer free dessert, but even the warm cookie with ice cream wasn't warm. If this were a mid-range location, I'd try again a different night. But at their prices, I won't take the chance.

The food was delicious, really, everything, including dessert. We had 6 great creative cocktails, and, yes, they can make a paper plane for you here. I personally loved the ladies restrooms and photos on a wall a so special. One of the best places now, one of my favourites.

The food, the drinks, the atmosphere, the service were absolutely top notch. My wife and I travel the country and eat at many restaurants; this one is special.

Per Diem is an excellent spot, in an area of PA where one would not expect to find such yummy dining. Wait staff are friendly, wait times are good and the food selection has yet to disappoint. If you are in or near Ephrata, check them out for sure.
