I hate to write this because I was a big fan of Rooster Street under the original owners. This was my first time trying it under the new ownership, and unfortunately, it was a big disappointment. We ordered takeout because there were no tables available, so we were already hoping the food would make up for the inconvenience.
Sadly, it fell short in nearly every way. The burger and bun were burnt, making it almost inedible. The kids’ mac and cheese was completely flavorless—my son wouldn’t even eat it. The chicken sandwich was overcooked, which was incredibly frustrating given the premium price we paid.
Maybe they were just having a bad night, but for the amount of money we spent, the quality was inexcusable. This isn’t the Rooster Street I used to know and love. I hope they can get back to the high standards they once had, but I can’t see myself returning anytime soon.
Awesome place and very friendly staff. We are visiting from out of town and can't wait to come back. The hummus was amazing. Great beer as well. Highly recommend.

Small space, but we haven'tbeen since Bulls head took over. Just wanted a beer and a snack. Decent selection of craft beers and menu had a lot of choices. Only ordered the fries, but we're looking forward to coming back for more food.

Excellent lunch at Rooster Street Butcher; only M got anything meaty (and it was excellent) while I had a fantastic salad and cauliflower side. Great bar selection including this delicious dry cherry cider.... really fun people as well.

I grew up in Kansas and we had the best ribeye steak that I've eaten in years. The steak and frittes was a close second and the spicey rooster sandwich was also very
good.

The fried Brussels sprouts and Southwest pork were both amazing last Saturday! What a great place! Thank you!

Rooster is just outstanding in all respects, but the thing that will always be most memorable, their genuine "signature", is the smokiness in so many og the dishes we had...starting with the smoked and fried chicken wings with three unique sauces, then onto to an amazing ribeye, smoked and grilled to a medium rare perfection and finally a smokey pulled pork mac 'n cheese. The beer flights were extensive (and excellent) and the service highly professional and engaging. If ever in Lititz, PA (Amish/Mennonite territory) this is a "must" destination for dinner!

Hate to call racism but I’m not sure what the issue was. My mother was told that she could get a seat for 3 in about 30 minutes at 515 today. However couples and single individuals were seated promptly as soon as they came in. Also nobody came for any of the reserved tables the whole time. After almost an hour we decided to leave. You’re telling me you couldn’t ask the couple sitting between the two seats and the single seat at the counter to move down one seat so that 3 of us could sit together? Also why would you keep seating individuals and pairs of people so that 3 seats never became available? What a shame. I had been waiting to eat here and now that I got a new job at a nearby school I was looking forward to finally doing so. Anyway I’m more than happy to support Brazilian Table and eat there once again.
Terrible experience! New to Lilitz and very disappointed with this place.
Our experience was almost laughable. It's actually difficult to explain the caustic, condescending, and frigid greeting we received immediately upon entering the restaurant. I can't comment on food or other aspects of the establishment because shortly after being seated we decide the place didn't deserve our patronage. This place gets great reviews on Google, so I hope others have better experiences than we did. For me it's a done deal... never again.

Sampled things from Rooster Street Butcher at a brewing festival in Lancaster. Enjoyed the experience enough to go to the location in Lititz. We enjoyed the Korean BBQ Meatballs, Steak & Frites & Beef Burger. The Herb & Parmesan Shoestring Fries were the only thing that could be improved. The “Dobrou” Czech Style Dark Lager was the favorite. Food, Beer, Wine & Cocktails - something for everyone. Reservations highly recommended.

We had lunch there today. Burger and Rooster sandwich were excellent. Greens with the sandwich also good. Parmesan fries were tasty but limp, needed to be crispier. Service also very good. We'll be back,

During my visit from out of town, I stumbled upon this hidden treasure! As soon as I stepped inside, the atmosphere was electric and inviting! The staff was incredibly friendly and seemed genuinely thrilled to be there, which made the experience even better! Now, let’s talk about the food… my spicy chicken sandwich was absolutely divine; I can’t stop thinking about it! You might wonder how a chicken sandwich could be so exceptional, and I wish I could tell you the secret, but you’ll have to ask the chef! The flavors were harmoniously blended! If you find yourself in downtown Lititz, this place is an absolute must-visit!
