Here's the scoop! We've been following the Pennsylvania ice cream trail and this was an exceptional place located on a large dairy farm. The is a huge grocery store. I bought knish at the deli. There is a full restaurant. I think there is a buffet. There is a playground, animals to pet. Sunflowers to cut. And there's ice cream. Good variety of flavors. We each enjoyed a single dip. It was early. Not crowded. Plenty of room on the multilevel covered deck.

Great place for ice cream and more, very family oriented with a play ground and small animals for your children to spend a couple hours. Reasonably priced, friendly staff and plenty of parking.

Promising a fun family experience with a playground, petting zoo, ice cream and more, the Milk house was a dreadful letdown. The petting zoo was four goats a rabbit hutch and two small horses, all hidden behind five-foot high fences that prevented any interaction. The playground was some swings, a slide, and some tires. The ice cream was lacking in flavor and it took them 10 minutes to make milkshake. And this homemade ice cream place sells store bought Italian ice, which they fail to disclose. Used to be much nicer. Clearly it has fallen on hard times and may not be around much longer if it continues to alienate it's patrons and betray their expectations.

I was disappointed they were out of waffle cones, especially since they advertise fresh waffle cones. Ice cream isn't too bad. I did like before when you could see the ice cream to help make your decision instead of how it's set up now with just a little order window. Plenty of seating and they still have the playground for the kids.

We make the 40 minute drive a few times a year because of how much we love this place. The deck in the summer is beautiful and there is so much for the kids to do so you don't have to rush.
The food was delicious! Very friendly waiters. Lots of animals. You can feed the goats and watch the horses and rabbits. There was also a play set. Definitely a place for kids. A definite recommendation.

The ice cream was good and and a good price. We were helped right away when we arrived around 8pm. They have a great slide and a walkway under the deck for kids to play. Also have goats that you can feed and ponies to watch. Bunch of rabbits and an always fun digging seat/mulch digging toy that my son loved. Large parking lot and plenty of room to move around. We spent around 45 minutes there with kids enjoying the little play area.

This was my bonus sons first trip and he loved it as well as my wife and two daughters. The ice cream is delicious and we didn't have to wait very long at all.
