Staff was on top of refills and check ins even though they were slammed on a Sunday. Definitely will be returning with my FD family this time!“

“My husband and I order from here at least once a week. They have great food, they are convenient to our location and they meet all our exceptions when it comes to take out orders. My favorite by far is their Philly Cheese Steak Pizza! Oh my gosh...it is so good. If you like the sub you will love the pizza.“

“My husband and I always dine at Dobbin House while visiting Gettysburg, which is conveniently close to outside of Harrisburg. The food, atmosphere, and service have always been excellent. We've been coming here at least biannually since before we got married. We typically order steak and crab cakes. The entrees come with delicious homemade warm bread, side salads, and baked potatoes. However, I would NOT recommend this restaurant for families with young children. Our 9 y/o was so excited for a "fancy dinner" and got dressed up. And our 1.5 y/o was very well-behaved in her high-chair. She was occupied with books, toys, coloring, etc. But a few other patrons were visibly and audibly judgmental of us having kids there. They were also rude to our server, who was lovely. We heard them scolding her about how long it took for their wine to arrive (which wasn't long). I worked in the service industry for years so I took notice of this. I'm still recommending it, because it's not the establishment's fault, but wanted to warn other parents that this isn't a child-friendly place, and the patrons can be very uppity. I know it's considered "fine dining," but our children are well-behaved and respectful, and we still deserved a nice night out. We spent around $160 and left feeling like we weren't welcome at all on our first experience of family vacation. It was such a disappointment because we have always loved going here. It was very off-putting. I could understand if our toddler was being loud, but we know how to handle her in public, and honestly the guys who looked like they just ended a round of golf were louder than she was! I forgot to take photos because I was so annoyed by the loud remarks about us having the audacity to bring our little ones there. They still get 5 stars because every other experience we've had there as a couple has been wonderful! Just wanted to give parents notice.“

“We went tonight to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary and as usual the food and staff didn’t disappoint us. I had the crab cakes and my husband had the filet mignon with blue cheese, both were delicious! We shard the bacon wrapped shrimp and they were amazing as well! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 experience as always and we highly recommend this restaurant! See you all again soon!“

“We were visiting Gettysburg and decided to check out Mason Dixon for brunch on Sunday. Our crew had the most amazing breakfast. We had beignets and then eggs Benedict with pulled pork. It was nothing short of fantastic!! Emily was a fantastic waitress and took amazing care of us. Meeting with the owner was an extra touch with great customer service. He was taking time to greet almost every group that came in to eat. Highly recommend coming to enjoy all that they have to offer with great food, drinks and beautiful atmosphere. “My husband and I came in last night for the first time. We are both from the Baltimore area but have been residents in PA for around five years now. I CAN'T BELIEVE WE WAITED SO LONG! I had the stuffed shrimp, let me tell you.. these guys understand what crab imperial is! It was heavenly! Hubby had ribs and they fell off the bone, the way they're meant to! The server was less than desirable. No such thing as refills or prebussing tables. It was average at best. Prices are high compared to similar places. If I didn’t have a gift certificate I wouldn’t have chosen this place.“

“We have Gallo’s regularly for dine in / take out. This time we bought a pizza, garlic bread, and a chicken nugget kids meal. All of the food was excellent. The pizza dough is my favorite, clearly made in house. I would definitely recommend if you need some good inexpensive food for the family.“

“Lovely atmosphere. The bartenders were great and all of the patrons had great camaraderie. My boyfriend and I were the youngest there by a long shot, but people were welcoming us in and having friendly conversations with us, which was awesome. Id recommend getting a flight first to decide what you like. I ended up liking just about every cider. The back porch was WARM even on a cold night. The live music was great too.“

“IM TRULY IN LOVE WITH THIS RESTAURANT!! I didn’t take a picture I forgot but I will next time I eat there. However, I’m new to this town and have eaten at 2 other asian restaurants in this town and tbh I was extremely disappointed. So I decided to try one more Asian restaurant, the Aki steakhouse. I was super blown away from the quality and taste of my meal. it’s hands down the best food I’ve had in years!! I mean YEARS!! I got the chicken teriyaki it was super moist and tender enough to break into pieces w/ just a fork, it came with the sweetest sugar snap peas and asparagus cooked to complete perfection( the tastiest vegetables I’ve ever had in my life) w/ white rice and to my shock it was a huge portion, enough for at least 2 adults. The price of my meal was 21$ but EXTREMELY worth it, and actually that’s only 9 dollars more than a combo meal from McDonald’s (that’s crazy to think about) and like I said it’s huge portions so you can easily split it with someone. YOU HAVE GOT TO TRY THIS RESTAURANT, I PROMISE YOU’LL BE HOOKED.“

The girl that had sat us came back and said the manager was to busy doing inventory but she told her the reason we wanted to see her. Large menu with excellent choices. We've taken visiting friends and relatives here too and have always been well taken care of. We always look forward to our visit.“

“So this is a mixed review. I am older and a "wing eating pro". Divino's wings are among the best in the area. Ample size, well seasoned, cooked just right. Their "cheesesteaks, not so much. I received a very excellent roll with very little "hamburger" no discernible cheese and little onion flakes. It is almost as if it was sent out without the preparation process being finished. It certainly was not noticed by the server. I should have sent it bask. My bad! 2 STARS...The servers, except for that, were very professional and cordial. I also tried the Stromboli on a different visit - and it was excellent. I asked for extra mozzarella - and I GOT it. Ok, let's boost this rating up a notch and 1/2. “What a night! I finally took Cooper for his 1st Lobster. After watching lots of “Coyote Peterson” uTube videos for a couple months, he’d been asking me to take him to eat one. Today was the day. Thank you to Hanovers Red Lobster & their General Manager Michael, he gave us the ultimate educational experience & even sat down with us & showed Cooper how to eat it. Mike got the meat out while Cooper ate it 😂😂. Cooper loved every bite of it & dipped it in his “hot warm butter”. He suggested his 8 year old friend Mia, try a “no thank you bite” ( that’s my rule ! 😂) And, she liked it! It was so funny! Had a great time. Cooper had a blast & enjoyed having Mia join him too!! “Gettysburg was our last stop on our 2 week summer road trip. We’ve eaten at restaurants with 5 star reviews on our trip but honestly the food we ordered and took back to our room from here was some of the best. The burger was thick and cooked perfectly! Fish tacos great flavor and my son loved his wings. Wait staff was very helpful and packed my to-go great with all the fixings.“
