We stayed at the Fallon because all the other hotels were booked. What a bad decision. We got a cabin room that was only 10 x 10 and absolutely filthy. The bathroom door could not be closed because the bed was in the way. There was a bunch of debris on the floor of the shower and dead bugs in the closet! This room should not have been offered to anyone.
I should say however, the bed was clean and comfortable, the bath linens were clean and fresh and the owner was very nice.
My room was clean. There is a bar/club downstairs so you will probably hear some noise. I popped my noise cancelling headset on and was fine. The building is from the 1850s so the rooms are older. All appointments (furniture, bedding, shower curtain and drapery) appear new.
So booked this place the picture are not what it is this place is trying to be a club more than a hotel for sure . So the bartenders are also charging different prices for drinks got 2 captain and Cokes cash was 20 but then paused with my card and paid 16 on my card so something going on sound very shady business for sure just beware people before booking ! Talk to management and they helped out! Thanks
I was visiting some friends and picked this hotel for how close it was to them. I waited a bit when I arrived but everyone was friendly and the owners were nice. The music was a bit loud but that’s to be expected when there is a bar downstairs. The hotel looked outdated but i loved the history of it. While lying in bed I looked back into the history of the hotel and I was impressed. The new owners are making changes to it and I am excited to see it looks next time I visit my friends.
Inexperienced bartenders...hurry to open at homecoming...carding people twice the age while othe people just walked on by the edge

The Fallon House is a nostalgic place as it was where I visited often when in college 16+ years ago. It was so nice to come back and see the improvements that have been made over the past several years of new ownership. The owner and his wife are so very warm, welcoming and friendly. You can see that they truly love what they do. The atmosphere is very laid back and it is just a really fun place to go to that seems to have a little bit of an older crowd. Just visited this time for drinks but will definitely be back to try out some menu items that other regular guests raved about. So awesome to see this coming back to life and contributing to the community in such a positive manner while also resorting its long history!
This place is a dump… my room looks nothing like the picture on the website. There is paint on the floor, the bathroom looks like it’s from the 1940’s (and not in a good way), no air conditioning, and no wifi. Check-in was 4p. There was no one working at the desk and no staff visible anywhere. It took 20 minutes just to find someone and then another 10 minutes to check in. The owner had a difficult time using there computer system, and after charging me $400 up front, there was another $200 charge for incidentals ( mind you, there is no minibar in the room, so I have no idea what the incidentals are). The owner kept apologizing that they were behind schedule on their remodeling and offered to give me additional fans for my room which was over 76 degrees. When I shared that I was not satisfied with the accommodations, the owner said he would try to do something to make it right, and then I never heard from him again. The bar/club appeared to be the owner’s primary concern, and it made so much noise that I had a difficult time sleeping.

Homecoming was a great weekend 😊 Staff all are great and was very nice . You had great turn out always a good vibe and love the staff here you are like family now. For the opening of new bar everything turned out so nice even the new staff turned out to be awesome and things was nice and ran smoothly 🙏 keep the improvements coming everything falling in place nicely. It won’t happen overnight but already it has showed all the hard work you put in🙏😊.
The positives: The young couple running this place were very nice. The bed was comfortable, the pillow were nice a fluffy and the room was clean.
The negatives: I just wish the room that we checked into would have the basics. The door required a sequence to movements to lock the door, the bathroom didn't have any place to hang towel, the closet was accessible, the room didn't have a mini fridge and the Wi-Fi signal strength wasn't strong enough to use.
I understand that the place is under renovation. I'm curious what it will be like once the vision of the owners comes to fruition.

The room was so unbearably hot. Couldn’t even stay the whole night. After tossing and turning until about 2am I decided to say screw this and get back on the road. The bar / restaurant downstairs was playing incredibly loud music until the wee hours of the morning making it even harder to sleep. Not happy with my stay at all.

WOW THE FALLON IS BACK BABY AND BETTER THAN EVER!!! Such an incredible experience we had our first time stopping in since the reopen, now we are HOOKED. You can tell the new owners put their heart and soul into turning this historical beauty into something even more incredible. So let me break it down for you.....
They are still in the process of remodeling but what they have done already will blow you away.
The vibe you get as soon as you walk in makes you feel so safe, comfortable and welcome.
Drink specials are something to brag about! They brought back the quarter drafts on Thursday (which is also when they do karaoke)
THE FOOD. OMG. wings are the best wings I've ever had, no seriously. In my entire life. And to keep it sooooo real, I now have competition with my baked Mac n cheese. Never did I ever think I'd like anyone elses because mine is top teir but my hat is off to the Fallon.
I don't have a single complaint. Food was amazing. Drinks are great. It's clean and cozy as well as it is funnnnnn af. Now my favorite spot.
Safety: I feel like I am with my family here. Home away from home vibe.
Walkability: Right in the heart of Lock Haven perfect walking distance for the college.
Food & drinks: Honestly now my FAVORITE spot for grub and drinks.

We arrived at 4pm for check in. There was no front desk attendant. There was loud music playing in the lobby with repetitive curse words (not the restaurant). There were childrens toys scattered all throughout the lobby. I called the number listed at front desk. Someone answered saying there would be someone arriving in 20 minutes. 40 minutes go by and we called again. After multiple calls someone finally arrived an hour later. We had an event to get ready for. She upgraded us to a bigger room. When we arrived in the room we realized why there was no pics of bathroom online when booking the hotel.
The bathtub dripped continuously during entire stay. Bathtub was converted into shower by 2 curtains but made water splash over bathroom. The bathtub had a hair from whomever stayed there previously. The sink was rusted and disgusting. The sample shampoo/conditioner/body washes were half empty, surely being used by previous tenant. There was a stain on one of our bath towels. Since our room was on 2nd floor of an older building, it was muggy and stuffy. I will note there was no A/C listed in the amenities and it was overlooked on our part. However, the ceiling fan in room was only thing to help. Next morning when we left to grab coffee, came back, and then we checked out, there was no worker to be seen all morning.
Bathroom photos attached because there were none online.
Walkability: Shops and restaurants nearby.

We were told the room they were putting us in was the one in the website pictures. The room was nothing like the picture. Pictures are definitely photoshopped. The place is dark and dingy. We were not told there would be a $200 incidental fee until after it was charged to my card. The “manager” was rude when confronted about it. If you are charging more than the room you should let people know that UP FRONT. We immediately left but they would not refund our room cost”you checked in and the room is considered dirty”
