“Seriously, we’ve been coming to brunch at the Main Street for years, today’s meal, I think was the best yet! Benedict was cooked perfectly and the hash browns, I don’t know what changed but they were excellent, cooked and seasoned to perfection. I ate every last bite, even though I was way too full! Oh, I almost forgot, we got the blueberry cobbler to go, and it was out of this world. Service was great, as always! Hats off to the new chef, we will be back for brunch very soon!”

“We went to Pearls Cafe for first time ... Got onion soup and winter crisp pear salad... The soup was fantastic...and the salad was just over the top ...We eat alot of salads but this was terrific...we can't wait to go again.. The atmosphere was great and the people made you feel at home...the desserts were amazing... I'm on a diet but we had to try a couple and so glad we did.We are both retired and on fixed budgets.. but the prices are very reasonable for the amount of food you get.. If you want a new and refreshing place to eat definitely try Pearls Cafe you'll be glad you did...”

“I've been here 3 times now and have gotten the platter everytime. I recommend the brisket, it is very tender and full of flavor. Their seasoned french fries are very good too. Best food around! They also have outdoor seating when the weather is nice”

“Love this place their fries are like 5 dollars for a whole box and while wings are 6 for 9 dollars I'd say there on eof the best in the area not to mention they also do dine in at the bar and they also sell beer to go there is paid parking lot in the back and it is wheelchair friendly 9/10 spot I would be a regular customer since it's so close to home thanks to the quality of food and how nice staff are when you place orders!”

“Only issue with me is I drink White Russians and they don't carry milk unless a cream soup will be made.
So why carry Kahlua? I doubt any many put it in coffee or drink Black Russians?”

“What a totally throwback joint. Had 2 of their Texas dogs and they settled the grinding pit of a spot in my gut I had from a coffee fueled 4 hour drive. Will go there everytime I pass through on my way through Lock Haven to the Kettle creek valley.”

“The owner is super nice, & the store is cute. We ordered a cake for my daughter’s birthday. It was decorated beautifully. Overall it’s a matter of preference. The cake was good, but very dense, and heavy. The frosting was silky soft, but very sweet. We also got some cupcakes, cookies, & a whoopie pie. For $3 a cupcake, they should be bigger than a regular sized cupcake.”

“Students are really too picky. Upper Bentley charges, if I remember, charges between $7-$12 for a cash/card entry. If you have a decently priced meal plan, it comes out to like $7 a meal swipe, which includes an all-you-can-eat style buffet for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They complain about getting "the runs" but really, it is greasy food. God forbid college kids have to cook for themselves let alone have food catered.There are multiple stations with all types of foods from deli sandwiches and wraps, waffle makers, a stir fry station, American food like burgers, chicken, and french fries, cereal, soup and salad bar, health-orientated/natural foods like almond milk and quinoa, and ice cream bar, not to mention the rotating menu like tater tots, seafood speials, specialty sandwich station, super hot dogs, international food day, and so forth.You get your money's worth by eating here althought it may not be the healthiest option but it's relaxed, good selection, and decent food.”

“I know this may not be the normal review for this type of establishment. But my goal is to let people know that, as a customer, I felt valued. Traveling with my mother, who has to use a rolling walker to help maintain mobility, to visit her sister in the hospital; we stopped here for something other than the usual fast-food fare. Not only was the staff friendly and the dining area accessible to my mother and her equipment, but the food was delicious (especially the onion rings).”
