If you are in Lock Haven or passing through, stop here and get their subs. This isn’t your garden variety sub shop. They make their bread for the subs from scratch and how can I explain it other than maybe only God can make it better. No seriously, I have had some of the best breads around the world and only these sub rolls I dream about. Then on top of that they use Boars Heads meats and a homemade Italian lettuce mix and dressing. Pricey, sure. Worth it? Absolutely!
While vacationing in the PA mountains, I stopped for lunch at Leo's (June 15, 2023). I had the Italian sub and a JOE's mango lemonade. The sub was fantastic: meaty with just the right amount of lettuce, tomato, and onion. The spices were great, too. Not overpowering, but just spicey enough.
