Fox's Market House Restaurant

My granddaughter and my good friend were returning home from an event in Centre Hall and passing through Lock Haven. I remembered that years ago that my mother and I used to eat at a place called Fox's Market house and wondered if it was still open. We used to really enjoy going there. And yes the restaurant is still there & was open! So we decided to stop. The decor & atmosphere is still as quaint as I remembered and the service is still friendly. And most importantly the food is still wonderful. There were a lot of delicious choices on the menu and we will need to visit again so that we can try them all.

My order was made wrong, to be expected at any restaurant. Mistakes sometimes happen. But they replaced my door dash order although it’s not what that usually do. I really appreciate the customer service and kindness at the is restaurant! The grove street is my favorite and they have the best salads in town!

Great breakfast. Incredible pancakes. Excellent all around! Our waitress was awesome. Food very hot and tasty! Scrapple cooked perfectly. Eggs perfectly over-easy. 10/10! And it's a cool building.

All the food was very bland, didn't have any salt and pepper in the food at all. The wait for us to be approached by a server was at minimum 20 minutes. The server gave an attitude when we reminded her we needed our drinks after waiting 15 minutes. Then it took 40 minutes for our food to come to the table and it was so disappointing. One of the other customers heard how upset we were and she said it's not always this long of a wait but it definitely wasn't a very good first impression.

Nothing beats a local diner's pancakes.

I like everything from the atmosphere to the service and food. Great people and great food make an excellent dining experience. My only comment is that the wait time from order to serve is a bit long, but good food takes time to prepare, so I understand that part.

I cant really pick a favorite meal, because I like the variety of choices and have never had a meal I didn't like at Fox's and theyo have great daily specials!

Went this morning for breakfast the food was good. I however didn't have great experience with service. We were dining in and it took 90 mins to get food. They apologized after they brought our food. Stating the kitchen was backed up. That is not acceptable in my opinion. Your kitchen issues are not the customers problem. The waitress should have told us that the wait was exceptionally long. The worst part is they kept seating people without warning them. That the coins were slow and couldn't keep up
