This is very much a hidden gem in the area! The atmosphere is great and the dining room was nice and comfortable on the cold day I visited. I was part of a pretty good sized group and the waitress was attentive, punctual and friendly! The food came out in a very timely manner. Our group had appetizers of fried green tomatoes, wings, nachos and the fries with bbq pork. The wings were mid, but all the other appetizers were great. I had the two meat platter with pork and brisket. The pork was great, but the brisket was tough and dry.I recommend the restaurant but I wouldn’t get the wings or the brisket again.

We've been looking forward to eating here because of the reviews. When we arrived there was only 2 tables and probably 10 people at the bar area. We were waited on in a reasonable amount of time. When I asked questions about items the waitress just looked at me like I was speaking a foreign language. You need to be able to tell your customers about the food on the menu. We got our food in about 15 minutes which is bad considering we ordered the 25.00 meal that consist of 2 meats, 2 sides each. Our food was cold. The BBQ ham was dry and tough. The brisket was dry, unseasoned, and cold. Everything was cold and cooked horribly. Almost like it was 2 day leftovers and were too lazy to even warm the food up. After we receive our meals we never saw the waitress again. Not for refills on drinks which we needed. Not to ask how everything was. We decided to not eat the majority of the food and waited 20-30 minutes before the waitress came back with the bill and asked if I wanted boxes. You'd think before you brought the check you'd see if everything was okay. The ten people at the bar drinking were more important than people who ordered the horrible food. The prices are outrageous for what little they give you. I truly wish the old owners were still there. You'd be guaranteed good food, service, atmosphere. All those good reviews are possibly friends and family of these owners and themselves writing the majority of them. My total bill for 2 people was 60.00.

This place is a hidden gem. We stopped here on a long drive back from Cherry Springs and were pleasantly surprised. The food was phenomenal, especially the wings. The atmosphere is great and there is an expansive outdoor area perfect for hanging out on a nice day.
