For those who don’t know this place is beyond a gem! The food is always amazing and never disappoints. Had dinner last night regardless of having to wait a bit to get our table, it’s always worth it! And I usually expect it as so many come to this great place for there family gatherings or a nice meal! Thank you Kay and all of the amazing staff for always making it a great night when I’m there!

A very nice and cozy family style Italian Restaurant in the east end of Lock Haven serving delicious Italian and American dishes. The Village Tavern is a great place to dine when craving amazing homemade Italian cuisine. The Braciole was outstanding as was the Tour of Italy. They even made our daughter a special dish of their homemade ravioli in Alfredo sauce. The desserts were delicious as well. The service was fast and friendly and our meals were out super fast even with a packed house. I would recommend reservations over the weekend for sure!
Parking: Parking can be tight as the lot is small and there’s a shed in the middle of the parking lot

When I went it was prom night and even with all the high school proms and college graduations and everything else going on in town they still were able to have great service and food out in a timely manner I love the true authentic Italian atmosphere and food they have in their restaurant

Very, very over rated. After seeing so many rant and rave about this place, we finally decided to give it a try last week.
After having a reservation and being seated, it took 40 minutes and having to ask to be acknowledged. We were walked by a countless amount of times before actually having to ask to be waited on. Finally after an hour of being there we received our drinks, and received our food 45 minutes later, one hour and 45 minutes after arrival.
The food was "OK" at best, but by far nothing to rave about. Olive Garden is better, in my honest opinion.. But, the lousy service was enough for us to never come back.

Atmosphere is always decent when I go in I just never there long enough to really experience it because I just grabbed my bread and my peppers and i'd be on my way. but I love the fact that I get an entire loaf of this thick dense delicious Italian bread, these peppers are to die for and sweet cream butter of course.My daughter and I literally love them so freaking much. They're like a little treat to ourselves! I got my best friend addicted to them and other people as well, ha ha sorry but sorry! ♥︎
