It has been a long time since I've been excited about somewhere to eat locally. As much as I love living in this neighborhood there really aren't a lot of options when it comes to going out somewhere to eat and not driving too far. Tonight for my birthday I had the absolute pleasure of eating at the Hunter Valley Restaurant. I had seen the advertisements for it on Facebook and had been wanting to try but tonight was definitely the night and it was one of the best birthday meals I've ever had. We began with a warm cup of tea black for me and green for Eric and I absolutely adore getting hot beverages and clear glasses and the large the glass size was wonderful.
The menu has so many options, even if you have picky eaters you are bound to find something for everyone. For an appetizer we ordered mushroom Julianne and the generous size could have fed 4 people picking at it. My first bite I audibly cursed out loud because the flavor was absolutely incredible!! Creamy full bodied goodness!! I knew right away our meals were going to be just as good.. but I was wrong.. they were EVEN BETTER! I knew I wanted shrimp but wanted Alfredo instead of scampi and the chef graciously made the substitution. Erik ordered the French Crockpot Venison stew. Again the size of the portions for both of our meals were very impressive and the flavor of each was so perfectly complete! I almost did a reenactment of the scene from when Harry met Sally... yes *that* scene. YUM! I never had to reach for the salt, which for me never happens, because it needed nothing. Erik said the Venison stew had a slight kick but had the perfect balance of spice and flavor and needed nothing else. There was a ton of meat and it wasn't a stew where it was overloaded with veggies and you're searching for the meat, quite the opposite. If you're not eating here I'm sure what your doing with your life. We don't go out to eat often but we'll be starting from now on because I'll do anything to keep this little Gem of a restaurant open!
Oh and YES... they DELIVER!!! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?!?!

We tried Hunter Valley for the first time last night and ordered delivery.. wow, were we impressed! I got the wild board schnitzel and my husband had the sirloin sandwich with potato fries. The sauce with the schnitzel was delicious and brought me back to the Eastern European cooking I grew up with. My husband's sandwich though was incredible, such great flavor. And the sweet potato fries were probably the best I've ever had. We can't wait to try more. I usually avoid delivery for a first time try, but not only was everything great but they delivered quickly too.

A restaurant with solid good food in the neighborhood. The bouillabaisse is a must try if you like seafood, it’s not as rich as the French version and hits just the right spot. The bread was a nice surprise as they are warm and crusty.

I had an absolutely delightful dining experience at Hunter Valley. The food was exceptional, with every dish bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The menu offered a great variety, and everything we tried was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff were attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. This place truly exceeded my expectations, and I can't wait to return. Five stars all the way!

I am so excited to write a review about this unexpected gem in Lords Valley, PA which my wife and I enjoyed unexpectedly yesterday.
Food: I ended up getting the Hunter Valley Burger and my wife got the Tuna Melt Panini. To speak specifically about my meal, it is one of the five best burgers I have had period. The combination of flavors just made it a joy every bite and I never felt like one bite was better than another. The fries were perfectly cut shoestring fries. We ended up getting dessert, apple streusel, which was also outstanding with some strawberries complimenting the flavor
Aesthetic: clean, simple set up with ~12 tables and dessert container on the right side of the room.
Service: our waitress Kim was the only waitress there but she was on top of everything even despite ir being busy around lunch time.

Service was friendly and professional. I ordered the skirt steak and it was so tender and packed full of flavor. The protein omelet was great too. I will make it a point to stop here everytime I swing through.

What a great place! The menu is so, so unique but still covers all the basics like burgers and salads. Breakfast is served all day. The menu is just so different, it was truly tough to decide. My husband enjoyed his cheeseburger and absolutely devoured it. My crepe with smoked salmon & caviar was beautifully presented, huge and delicious. The staff were welcoming and attentive. The ambiance is a little quirky and kind of at odds with all the awesome food but it didn’t matter. Can’t wait to go back!
