It has been a long time since I've been excited about somewhere to eat locally. As much as I love living in this neighborhood there really aren't a lot of options when it comes to going out somewhere to eat and not driving too far. We tried Hunter Valley for the first time last night and ordered delivery.. wow, were we impressed! I got the wild board schnitzel and my husband had the sirloin sandwich with potato fries. The sauce with the schnitzel was delicious and brought me back to the Eastern European cooking I grew up with. My husband's sandwich though was incredible, such great flavor. A restaurant with solid good food in the neighborhood. The bouillabaisse is a must try if you like seafood, it’s not as rich as the French version and hits just the right spot. The bread was a nice surprise as they are warm and crusty.
