We stopped in for lunch as first-timers that come to New Ken from time to time, and wow! This diner knocked it out of the park. As others have said, it doesn’t look like much from the outside but it has a very cozy diner atmosphere inside. I had the Junkyard burger (brisket, bbq, bacon) and fries and this thing was enormous, juicy, and delicious. My wife got the country side breakfast combo which was also huge, big heaps of potatoes, fresh biscuits and gravy, perfectly cooked...
Food was excellent. Prices are up but that's life now with everything. It would have been a five except for experience at checkout. Woman was very rude. I will hesitate before going back due to that experience.
When I tell u I highly recommend this place I even did I lil vlog on my channel I would definitely recommend and be coming back they were so nice and friendly and sweet some one lie and said they ain’t friendly to darker skin people but when I went there so no uncomfortable feelings I felt like I was at home this is way better than the Waffle House I can’t wait to go back
