Ida the owner is a very miserable person, I'm my opinion. Food may be good but the atmosphere leaves much to be desired. There are many other Italian restaurants in area that are very good and more pleasant.

I love this diamond in the rough! Ida and her daughter are some of the most amazing Italian women I've come across in a long time! Food is a little pricey but very good and worth it because everything is made with love and not thrown together like the chain restaurants... I will always recommend Ida's!

We were there on 6/23. I had the chicken pastina soup and the lasagna. Both were terrific. Lasagna was about the best that I ever had. My beloved had the chicken breast special, and she said that it reminded her of the chicken that her Italian aunt made many years ago.

My first time here... Small, Independent Italian restaurant with a nice atmosphere... Daily Specials... The food was very good... Soups & Salads were very large portions... Great Service... Cash Only payments, which I wasn't crazy about, but besides that, a great place to eat!

Ida's sauce is the closest to my grandma's that I have ever tasted! The wait staff are SO wonderful! Portions are huge and that's ok with me!!! We even during the Pandemic because she was compliant about face masks and seating!
Food is fresh and prepared in a timely matter. Serving staff is attentive and fun to interact with. Restaurant is clean, neat and decor is charming. Bring your own wine and enjoy time with family and friends. You are never rushed out the door. Each and every dish I have had at Ida's is delicious. Serving sizes are huge and you will get at least two meals from each serving. That being said, yes Ida is "entertaining" however she is a great person who welcomes everyone like family. She will take the time to come and check on you as you dine. My family and friends love this place!
