“Midway through a 2-week camping vacation from Illinois to Ontario, we decided to eat out the night before an early travel day. My husband is a home chef and pizza connoisseur who has been perfecting his pizza for over a decade. We went to AmberDonia in Kingston for a wood-fired pizza. THIS WAS THE BEST PIZZA WE'VE EVER HAD. We chose the classic Marguerite. The spare seasoning on the crushed tomatoes enhanced them while letting their flavor shine, and the house-made mozzarella was lovely. The thin yet sturdy crust had the perfect balance of crunch and chew and excellent flavor. Wish we lived here because we would eat here every week. We also split a delicious house salad and took home 2 desserts from the gorgeous array of bakery items to enjoy on the road tomorrow.“

“Where do I begin with my recommendation? I have been a regular at this unique restaurant for many years. I was especially grateful that the outside pickup was available during Covid. My favorite sandwich is the Nicole and I also love that there are 3 different soups available each day. The ricotta cookies(regular) and the pumpkin ricotta cookies are excellent! Snickerdoodles are to die for! The selection of several types of bread is wonderful. Also the availability of ordering pies, cookies & other food for parties and holidays is great. Colleen, Joe and Emily go above and beyond in making their customers feel welcome. Something Special is an awesome place to meet with your friends. Whenever anyone asks our group where we want to go they actually know my answer…Something Special…give it a try.“

“Jane’s Sugar Magnolia recently made some cookies for a Grand Opening Event my company was hosting. They put our company logo on a sugar cookie and it could not have been more spot on. They looked absolutely amazing and we received so many compliments from those that attended. Everyone wanted to know who made them. If you are looking for a custom cookie, I highly recommend!!“

“Recently visited the Royal Bake Shop , as I used to live in Exeter and was in town from FL for a wedding. The lady behind the counter was very friendly and informative. Learned they shipped to my area, thank you. Bought a nut roll and prune roll , cookies and a blueberry muffin, all were fantastic.“

“I have been going to the bagel bar since it opened. I’ve had sandwiches, salads, hot food, cold food, bagels, pastries, breads and I have NEVER had anything that wasn’t delicious. The only issue is at times the staff is overwhelmed and service can be a little slow when teenagers are behind the counter and are too nice to customers when there is a backlog instead of being short and sweet and moving on to the next customer. The pricing and portions are fine if you remember this is kosher food. The atmosphere is pleasant and quiet enough to work. I will continue to eat there.“

“Sugar Kraze did the cutest fairy cake for my daughter’s birthday. I gave them a few inspiration pictures and the combined what I loved from each perfectly, and of course the cake was amazing. We loved their whipped topping and I cannot forget about the little treats I picked up from the store. Absolutely delicious!“
