I’m not from Pennsylvania and it was my first time going to Nucleus Raw Foods.. I didn’t know what to do or where to start, but the owner (I believe; although I didn’t get her name) made me feel welcomed and helped with all my questions. I ended up getting more than one thing, I wanted to try everything. Outside of the sandwiches I actually ordered, she put a side of the “cashew chik’n” so I could try it.. EVERYTHING was delicious!!!! Everything is packed with flavor and worth it!!! I am amazed and after the backyard sandwich I still feel energized and ready to continue my day.. The atmosphere was homey, there was a couch, as well as books and plants. You feel like you could stay there all day and just CHILL.. I will visit again, when I visit PA again.
Vegetarian options: It’s raw food.. Everything is natural and basically vegan. ?
Parking: Not many spots, I’m not sure how busy it gets in the area but if it’s busy I think you could have a little trouble parking close.

Okay. Fellow Vegans. Listen up…. I was traveling through the area for an event. The event was catered and there were no vegan options, so the host grabbed us some food from here….. Outstanding on every level and I do not say this lightly….. these people are geniuses. I was so impressed that I immediately called and placed another order to take food home with me. The owner is very humble, kind, patient, helpful and clearly has a level of passion, dedication and expertise rarely seen. The food is exceptional. Over 40 kinds of smoothies and while she didn’t say it, I feel like when she saw me, the owner intuitively knew that I needed turmeric, which is something my Dr. has recently encouraged me to be consuming. I wish this were a franchise. Exceptional food, service, kindness and talent.

The owners of this establishment are the best! My daughter returned home for her father's funeral and they were so compassionate and thoughtful. She loves their food and always stops by when she's in toem.
This is such a lovely little spot with delicious food! I'll be honest- I'm not that into salads but the combination of textures in the sesame chick'n salad (leafy greens, riced cauliflower, shredded carrot, broccoli florets, cashew clusters) and the delicious dressing kept me chomping to the bottom of the bowl. My tropical smoothie was also very good.I do wish they served the food in ceramic bowls but I suspect that most of their business is to go which is a shame because the seating area is adorable! If I lived/worked closer I would eat here regularly for lunch. Highly recommend!

Nucleus is so cool and such a gem in Luzerne. The food is really good, creative and insanely healthy. All raw and vegan. This is the only place where I can honestly say that, after I eat here, I actually feel healthier and have more energy, etc. Cool ambiance and great people too!
