Went yesterday with friends for the first time. Absolutely delicious food and great service! I can see why there was a line of people waiting to be seated. Definitely will be returning!

Slightly upscale, very nice place to eat. The food is delicious and portions are generous. It's not overly costly, but not inexpensive (prices are fair for what you get). We've never been dissatisfied with the food. Their mixed drinks are mediocre at best.

Food is good but when I went to place a take out order they wanted to charge me a $2 " take out fee " ??? I am ordering your food and driving to your place to pick it up ... where do you get off charging me an extra $2 for the privilege of picking up my own order ?
If I eat in I would be tying up a table drinking free water, enjoying you lights, restroom, and having waitress you pay wait on me.
I love you guys but bad business practice, and it really ticks me off. I want to support local mom and pops but not if you going to nickle and dime over nonsense.

Friends took us for dinner. It was fantastic food and great service. My wife's steak was well done not medium like she ordered but it's an awesome well done. she was happy but other that that everyone's meal was great.

Every time I deal with this place as takeout there's issues. If you eat here it's fine pretty pricey but the food's good and good service. Multiple times now I've gotten take out and it's been a problem. The first time I got take out they gave me a bag and everything was spilled inside I'm spending over $100 and I have a soaking wet bag by the time I get home. I called them and was told I would get a credit that never happened. I waited a few months and tried again. Ordered doordash for pickup. Go to the front and say hey I'm here to pick up an order. Was told go to the back. I go to the back and somebody asked me what I was looking for I told them my order and name through doordash. They say 4 minutes. 20 something minutes goes by I'm standing there. And finally someone comes up to me and says hey are you waiting for something. I say yes my order I told him to order and they say yeah it's been sitting at the bar. I feel bad for the kid that I like kind of snippy with but the customer service for takeout here is garbage.
Second time there, great place for food and conversation. If in the Macungie area a must stop.

Food was absolutely delicious. I had a patty melt. Was with 2 friends and their meals smelled so good. We all agreed the food was great. The atmosphere was nice and service was good. I haven't had a bad meal at Buckeye Tavern.
