New Macungie Family Diner is a typical small town diner with home cooked styled meals. The food is tasty and served in a reasonable time, with good food for a reasonable price. Breakfast is a highlight, with scrambled eggs described as especially phenomenal and fluffy like eating a cloud. The eggs Benedict are done quite well, and the hashbrowns are good. Pancakes are very good, and the latte is good. Portions are large, with the biggest French toast ever seen and a huge breakfast sandwich with delicious sausage. The coffee is not too bitter, and with a bit of cream it is nice and smooth. The interior is nice, and everyone is very nice and welcoming. However, the service can be poor due to being under staffed, and guests may be seated close together, making it annoying to hear loud conversations. The building is nothing special but works well as a diner. The menu has plenty of options, and the diner is recommended for breakfast, with plans to try it again for lunch and dinner.
