Food and service are always amazing! We went for our first anniversary dinner and really enjoyed our meal. Every time we go there, it's always a great experience. Would definitely recommend!

The food needed seasoning since it was all bland. The food was also room temperature. The only food that was hot were the omelets made to order, which was great! The service was wonderful. We did go to a Mother's Day buffet, so maybe if you aren't at a buffet the food would be better. We will not go back for a buffet here.

The Mother's Day brunch was lovely. Service was excellent both at our table and at the buffet, carving table and stations. The food options were plentiful and very good. My only comment is that the price seems just a tad high, but I understand the cost of food had also gone up drastically. I nowhere near ate $45 worth of food, but taking everything else into consideration, including the excellent service, I would definitely recommend it. Maybe include one cocktail with the price...just a thought.

The Sunday brunch is easily the best value in the western suburbs, and even the city of Philadelphia. Service was excellent and with a smile and appropriate attention. The food at dinner was also very good with a varied menu. Excellent desserts. Combine it with an overnight stay and you'll have a very nice getaway.

We have been coming to the brunch at Desmond for years. After a bit of a nosedive a few years back, it is a delightful experience once again. Our waiter was Collin (sp?) and he was very attentive to us. We had him before and he's been consistently great. Thank you and keep it up!

So been doing brunch here for years but the standards have dropped significantly and I can not officially say that better options that take pride in quality and presentation. I know I have a special order, but if your chef cant figure out to prepare thinner pancakes without failing to cook food to and edible temperature and not serving up an unhealthy mass of dough likely to make one sick then what are you doing and why bother being a restaurant. Generally some nice servers here but more broadly there has been a drop off and there are some poor attitudes. This is sad and this will be my last time here. Failed to meet expectations. Poor resolution of issues. Poor conflict management. In short, regarding hospitality, they failed hence the review. If the expectations are reasonable, any reasonable service operator will meet or exceed them. Not this place. The explanation I received from the restaurant manager was they did not have a recipe for the pancakes I wanted despite making them for me every time I go there. If the cook is not supervised by a chef, again, why bother operating as a restaurant. Chefs make recipes and would never have permitted under-cooked to be served. This place has gone SO downhill.

Server was amazing! Restaurant is beautiful! Food was disappointing. Chicken Francaise had a weird thick breading and made it like a weird omelette over chicken. Beef Vegetable soup had no vegetables and was flavorless. Wedge salad was delicious but was 11 bucks for a tiny bowl. Server was amazing and catered to every need. Restaurant is stunning...just hoped it lived up to its rating.

My wife and I had a date night dinner here. It has been over 10 years since we've been here. The food, ambience, and service was outstanding. The hostess and waitress were very friendly.

The jazzy music was too loud. Most of my veal wasn't pounded flat so was tough. With $14 each for a glass of house wine and a Gin Martini, the pour was small. I had asked for a full pour of the martini. That means it is to the rim and bartenders should know that as it is how cocktails are to be served. The server was very nice and attentive as would be expected. Overall, not too bad of an experience for a post-Valentine dinner.

My fiancé and I LOVE the Desmond and we frequent both the hotel and restaurant. I can't say enough great things about the facility, management, staff and overall experience. Great diversity on the menu for both food and drinks and you can tell they're using high quality ingredients. Awesome location for brunch, dinner, Happy Hour and the deck is amazing once the weather heats up! Colleen Olejniczak and Mike Chain are Rock Stars!

We had a very nice time at the Desmond for Valentine's Day. The food and restaurant was amazing. The staff took care of all our needs and were very friendly and knowledgeable about menu items.

We went to Sunday brunch. Brunch selections were good - a little heavy on salad selections and not as much with hot dish lunch selections. What we noticed more stay is the taste is f many of the selections were just fair. The hash brown potatoes were bland as were the scrambled eggs. The carving station had beef and ham but the ham was dry and not flavorful. Was all the food acceptable? Yes. Was it amazing? No. I would suggest to the chef to not be shy in seasoning the dishes.

The Desmond is a lovely place to enjoy Sunday brunch. There are a wide variety of choices. The made to order omelets are especially good. The amount and quality of food is a good value.
