We had a Classic Winnie the Pooh Baby shower for my Daughter here. Thank you and your team for a very successful baby shower. Everyone told me what a great venue it was and that the food was amazing! I really appreciate all the hard work that the setup team did (putting out additional tables that we needed, giving us great direction on where they should go, and answering all our questions). They were a great team!!The mimosa bar was a great addition to the shower and the presentation was fantastic. Everyone enjoyed this!!Our photos from the event are so special. We can't thank you all enough for a great day!I would highly recommend the following vendors as they were amazing themselves. You can use this as a recommendation for future events:Party Shoppe on the Mainline (Malvern): balloon arches, were amazing and the vendor was professional and very quickly assembled both arches. Fantastic photo op!!Masters Baker (West Chester): I ordered 125 cupcakes, cake pops, and cookies for 75 people and they were gone before I got one. I am healing today how good they were. I gave them inspirational photos and they outdid themselves!!Anne Schmidt Florals (Malvern): Arrived at a perfect time to complete our centerpieces. Everyone remarked how beautiful each was and I had WINNER stickers under seats for that person to take home the entire centerpiece, They were so excited!Thank you again to both of you and your staff for a fantastic celebration of my Daughter and her new baby girl!!

I am not for reviews, but here are a few bullet points for the owner.◦ Either the owner or the staff need to be more responsive to emails. No one responded to my future daughter-in-law on her request on seating arrangements. This added unnecessary stress.◦ The owner should have introduced herself as we entered and introduced us to the servers instead of standing in the background.◦ The owner should have checked in as the party was under way to make sure everything is going smoothly.◦ The owner should give the final bill to the host and address and questions or concerns. The owner was very rude, was not concerned that there were some seat rearrangements before our guests arrived. In fact we had no idea the woman in the background was was the owner until we asked who she was.On a positive note, the two servers in charge for our event were great and very accommodating. It’s a shame that the 20% service fee does not go to them as they are the ones who do all the work.Despite the lack of communication, the guest had a wonderful time.

Words can’t express how incredible my wedding was at this venue. From the incredible food to the warm atmosphere things were perfect from beginning to end. This venue is very unique. The airy feel of the downstairs bar and patio is beautiful and calming. Patty was a dream to work with! To this day I have people bringing up how much fun, delicious and beautiful my wedding was. HIGHLY recommend.

Beautiful wedding or banquet venue! Small or large affairs. Great food offerings and exceptional service!

This location had been called The Boathouse but is under new management and now called Fox Barn at Twenty9. The lower level had gotten remodeled and was quite nice. The bar areas both inside and out, the restrooms and the upstairs restaurant. Outside the rickety old wood deck was updated to the Trex-like materials. Turned out great! Drinks and bar food were both still good.

My daughter had her wedding reception there this past weekend. It was fabulous. Starting a year ago My wife and daughter began methodically looking for a venue in nj de or pa. Wanting a relaxed feel to the evening ballrooms we’re quickly nixed. Knowing that they wanted to add some personal touches to the reception they were looking for a place that would allow them to have some flexibility. Patty (the owner) an dBrittany (the coordinator) worked with them through the whole process. We had 150 people and with that number you might worry the food would be difficult to be consistently good. KUDOS to the chef and kitchen staff -we had a large number of people rave about the herb roasted chicken and the prime rib especially!!!!! (Had a few dietary restrictions that got stir fry - they loved it. Felt like they weren’t afterthoughts because it was soooo good)They rented the farmhouse ( built 1770’s) adjacent to the barn for the night before the reception. The house is incredible. The whole wedding party stayed together. We made some great memories there and shared some old ones. The morning of, the bridal group had their hair and makeup done in the bridal suite with champagne and the guys relaxed and played cornhole before the reception started. The best part of the farmhouse were the incredible photo opportunities throughout the house. Stunning place. We give it a five because of the atmosphere, the flexibility the food and the price was reasonable for everything you get. Lots of options to choose from within the price per head. Dj Oleg from Shaffer Sound needs a shout out too! Kept the party going!!!!!! If your reading this and are looking for a venue I highly recommend you take the time to see Fox Barn 29. Can’t imagine we could have been happier.

We had a small family party here a few weeks ago and we were really disappointed. The place was trashed from a party the night before, bar wasn’t stocked properly, and no one communicated our wishes to those executing the party. Despite multiple emails to the owner I only received one reply offering a gift certificate. For the price, we were ripped off. I can’t imagine if this was someone’s wedding. The whole point is for someone to take the stress off hosting a big party from your plate, not to make it worse. If they are unable to handle the volume of events there (and have each be a priority)then they shouldn’t book them.

Terribly racist location. We were told to leave because it was a private event. Nowhere were there signs or any indication that it was a private event but my husband was the only black person there, so he was profiled. Will not support this business.

We celebrated my parents' 25th anniversary here with about 100 people. It was really beautiful, with wonderful decor, ambience, and the food was great as well. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous. We had also worked with Patty Archi before and her help with planning and setting everything up is amazing. Highly recommend this place for private parties.
