We were looking for a new location to experience last minute and McCleary's came up in our search. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived and entered into a cozy and warm atmosphere! We had reserved a seat for two in the outdoor enclosed patio which was very open and well decorated. The food was amazing!! Sadly I forgot my leftovers when we left and was disappointed because I was looking forward to enjoying them the next day. We will definitely be back again and soon!

We made a reservation for the patio which I called to verify was air conditioned, when we got to there we were told it was extremely hot out there. I asked for a different table and was told because they were crowded they didn't know if they could change us. They were able to do it and were super friendly about it. The food was delicious, the service was great, we had no issues whatsoever. Can't wait to return!

It took 20 minutes for a wait staff to acknowledge us... we ordered salads and appetizers. Apps were out in 10 minutes, salads took an hour... ridiculous

The receptionist appeared to have lost our reservation and showed us to a table right by the exit. We asked to be moved to a table further away but were told that it might be reserved for someone else. When we left an hour or so later no-one had appeared! The food was not as good as normal, the tender tips were cooked correctly (medium) but were certainly not tender. Altogether a disappointing experience, if it had been our first visit we wouldn't return but in the past we've had some excellent food, maybe the chef had an off-day and the staff were inexperienced?

Our server Nick was incredible. It was a busy Sat eve and he kept up with everything. We never waited for a drink and he checked in frequently.

Unexpectedly very busy due to a major public event right outside the doors of the pub. We had a reservation, but arrived almost 20 minutes late as there was no parking available for blocks. We were nonetheless welcomed into the cozy pub area without question and served quickly. Two of us had fish and chips, the other Shepherd's Pie. All the entrees were very much enjoyed. Great tap list to compliment the food. Definitely will return and try the beautiful patio area, which is enclosed.
McCleary's is always a great experience--great food, great beer, and the staff are very friendly and welcoming.
