Another great meal and fun time at McCleary's. I had the crab cake and Brussels sprouts; new favorite. Friend had the pub steak and loved it. Hubs had the shrimp boat and it was delicious. Service was friendly and attentive. FYI - Often live music starts at 7-7:30. We choose McCleary's for Irish Pub vibe and great food. We want to talk and catch up. So I could do without the music. I typically get an earlier reservation to avoid the music. Otherwise fab experience.

We've been trying to get here for years. It was well worth the wait. Friendly service, seated us right away. Calm chill atmosphere. Could sit here and talk for hours since it was not loud at all. Food was top notch. Even the char on the burger was flavorful. Absolutely will come back again.

Great food! Big portions! They were a little short staffed so I felt bad asking for things like tefills--but they hauled butt! And we were enjoying ourselves. :). So we didn't mind the wait.

Awesome pub! Incredible food - lots of Irish & English food as well as regional favorites like crab cakes & crab dip. Excellent menu with plenty of choices. The Fish & Chips might be the BEST I've had on this side of the Atlantic Ocean. Very cool historic atmosphere befitting of an old river town like Marietta. Fantastic service! Diverse selection of beers & beverages. Great luve music- Salt Hill was outstanding tonight.

The food was delicious. Our table had a sampling of different items. Everyone was pleased.
Our server, not so much. 1st strike was telling us we need to tell her if we want to split checks because she isn't doing it later. My husband had to ask 2x for water. I had to ask 3 times for a box for my appetizer. Long wait for drink refills and had to be reminded. But the kicker was when she confronted the table about being given just a 10% tip and she gave it back. Needless to say she got $0. When we told her why, she argued with us about it. And I will call her out. Her name was Angie R.
Spent New Year's Eve here last evening. The enclosed outdoor patio was beautiful & warm! Our server was very sweet & good! The food was delicious! I had the fish & chips. Will definitely be going there again! The band Shane Fregm & 74 Junction were awesome!!!
