We have been going to McCleary’s for years. Tonight our server was Makayla. And she was …. fantastic! Food was great and drinks were always full. The supporting staff is also very supportive and friendly. Our table ranged from salad entrees to sandwiches to burgers to steaks. Each were well presented and tasted great. Makayla even hand crafted a wonderful black and tan! Great night, thanks !

Four of us had lunch here last Saturday. We sat in the covered patio. It was a great setting. The service was fantastic. Our server was very personable and attentive. I had the pot pie and it was amazing. My wife had the mussels and a salad and they were both great. Our two friends had the fish and chips. They said that it was OK, but a little greasy and over-battered. I would have to agree. I liked the setting, the people and the food. I would go back again in a heartbeat.

Its been a while since we ate here. Had reservations, arrived a little early and was able to be seated. Our server was MAYA. We waited unusual amount of time in between ordering drinks,.appetizer then dinner. HORRIBLE service!! She was not attentive at all and it got worse. Our appetizer came out and litterly 2 minutes later our food! That was on the server! Not happy. I had the "famous " fish fry. Not sure how its famous. Over a 1/4" thick grease soaked batter, which I could thankfully remove, only to have a very thin piece of MUSHY fish. I could not eat it, I tried, but no! My husband had Tips on toast. Ordered medium well, it was medium rare and toast was BURNT! He said the meal had that burnt taste. We ordered a side of mushy peas, they interested me and wanted to try as a side. Well they never came amd nor did MAYA. She never returned to check how meal was, no refills on water or other beverages. But yet we sat there and watched her attend several other tables. The mushy peas never made it on the bill, as we were going to make sure it was removed. So she didn't even take our order correctly. We will never go back.

My husband and I gave this place a try for dinner. We wouldn't have expected to have to make reservations, but took the advice of their website, which stated they were strongly suggested, and did so. We're glad we did. The place was full. We both went with traditional Irish choices - I got the tips and my husband got the bangers and mash. Both were delish! They have a good choice of beer on tap as well at bottled/canned. A lot to choose from. We both shared a piece of the peanut butter pie, which was good, but not homemade. The prices are very fair. The service was out of this world! I don't recall her name, but she was on the ball and friendly as can be. Unlike many other eating establishments since covid, this place appears to be well staffed. There are a variety of places to sit when dinning. You can sit in the pub, which is your traditional dark pub atmosphere, the bar area which has more light, in their enclosed patio, which is beautiful and very contemporary or outside at tables. Outside and the bar I believe can't be reserved online. It's either first come, first served or perhaps you have to call personally. We sat in the pub to feel like we were in an authentic Irish pub, but it's true.....you do almost need a flashlight depending on what table you're seated at. We pulled out our phones to do so! Other tables aren't quite as dark. They often have live music offered many weekends. Check their website for the schedule. They seem to play in the enclosed patio area. If you're in the area, stop in for a bite to eat. You won't be disappointed. I know we'll certainly be back again.

This place has a very cozy atmosphere, fantastic food, and an amazing selection of beers. I've visited twice now and have had the fish and chips both times I've been there, and they rival any fish and chips I've had elsewhere. The staff is very friendly, the bar and bathrooms are incredibly clean. I'm looking forward to the next time I get to visit!

I come here every now and then to eat and the food is always good. I like the inside patio it is the right temperature for me. The waitress was nice but did not see her much, to give more water when I was out. Otherwise nice and relaxing place to eat.

We go there frequently and the food is always good and service is great. We usually stay for the band and last night the band was very good but we could not stay because it was so hot inside it was awful. Sadly we left very early and others left as well because of it. The thermostat read 80 degrees inside.

Good food and a good time. Fresh Guinness. Make a reservation ahead of time and ask to sit in the back. Very different than the front area; both nice, but a real unique and chill vibe in the back area. There's also a cool sand/beach area to throw bags or just sit at a table on a nice day. There was a big street festival outside when we had a late dinner, party of 8 with some small kids. There was a drunken man or two at the bar, some words were exchanged between each other, no physical altercation, but an unpleasant exchange for a short amount of time. They left and didn't return. Freddy, owner or manager, came over, apologized, and comp'd our entire meal. Stand up stuff. And appreciated. Very cool place.

Great pub food - especially hot pretzels and the bruschetta! Wolfgang is also a fabulous server with a warm personality and ready to accommodate. Perfect stop off for River Trail bike riders.

Irish Pub transported from Ireland to Marietta. At least it feels like it. Fantastic Atmosphere. Food is expensive but 5 STARS!!! I have eaten buffalo wings all over the world. It is a fun quest in life to see if you can discover your favorite wing joint. All of the food here is good. But I am awarding the BEST WINGS I'VE EVER EATEN award to McClearys Pub. That includes the original anchor bar and about a thousand other places from NYC to Bend, Oregon. I have made repeat visits to see if it was a fluke. It is not. These wings are breaded, fried, covered in sauce as requested, but super crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Obviously, I will be back... again and again. This place is an hour drive and still well worth it.

Went in for dinner, traveling solo. Requested a table on the outdoor patio. Hostess disappeared to ask management if this would be possible. She returned stating that the only seat available to me was at the bar. Period. (This includes indoor tables as well.) Mind you, I was facing several empty dining tables where servers were sitting (talking and taking their breaks?). The bar was to my right, a darkened area, and the bartender barely glanced my way. I thanked the hostess and left. Not returning again.

we went there after my niece's graduation yesterday. the people who work there are lovely - really accommodating. The food? meh. What was great was the chicken wings appetizer and the Ruben was really excellent and the French fries were the bomb. I loved that they were able to substitute a salad for rice with the crab cakes which were - ok. It came with a side of dried out mushy peas which frankly should stay in the UK. I wondered if anyone ever eats them? I would definitely NOT order the crabcakes again and my sister ordered the crab soup which she said was so bad she returned it. The Shepards pie was pretty good and the burger was ok. Side salad pretty good. We did ask for wine which took 3 requests to get, a hot tea which was asked for a few times but that. stuff really doesn't bother me. Make sure you ask if it comes with mushy peas -- I could swear it said seasonal vegetables with the crab cakes but I could be wrong.
