I went on Saturday 3/16 day before St. Patrick's day. I met up with my guys from when we all lived in area. Server was very nice and checked in on us often. I had wings I didn't care for them. Had a good time there catching up and finding out how everything was going for my boys. Bar was not too crowded and music not so loud that we couldn't talk to each other. Biggest disappointment was they closed at 11pm on a Saturday night.

Be very careful if going here. It looks like they are having real issues with trouble makers (which can happen with any tavern along the river). In December, about 10 days before we went here, they confronted a person outside who refused to pay. The guy pulled a gun on the employee and threatened to shoot them in the head. Look online, you'll see the news story. We went there with another couple anyway for supper aware of the situation that possibly the management wasn't able to keep the trouble out of the place. Within minutes Courtney had our drinks at the table and placed our food orders, great service ... and then some white trash at the bar left out a super loud screech or whistle looking for attention. I mean it was bad. Then he did it again a few minutes later and left. One more time and I'd have gotten involved with escorting the POS to the curb. The owner needs to hire some aggressive enforcement right now to get a handle on this or the place is going to get a reputation like the Bainbridge Inn as a good place to raise hell and start a fight. NOT date night atmosphere on a weekend. I hope things change here, they need to exercise a heavy hand. It's a nice place, but the trash has to be dealt with and kept out.

This is a nice spot in a quaint town. The atmosphere is a clean but rustic tavern. It features a nice low-lit, 3-sided bar (nice ambiance) and this old-school German style wall construction (that i can't remember the name of). There's about a dozen tables for dining (maybe more if you count the 2-seaters).??♟️?♣️There's a section where you can play table games (cards, jenga, dominos, uno, chess, checkers, etc...). I saw at least one adult gaming machine, but I don't gamble, so I don't know what games it has. They have a Facebook page that you can check out for events.???They were out of both burgers and chicken wings when I went, which was definitely a bummer, but in the end, I was happy with the cowboy-style (bacon + BBQ) grilled chicken breast sandwich.???I must say though, I was disappointed that they did not carry any hefeweizen beers either on draft or in bottles. However, there were many beer options; just not ones that appealed to me in the moment. They carry Troegs and other IPAs, Lagers, some domestics, wine, and they have like 8 taps for draft (presumably rotated).Overall, I liked the spot and will likely return at some point. Hopefully, they'll have burgers and chicken wings back on the menu ??Wheelchair accessibility: The entrance is ADA accessible.

Came in for dinner with 2 small children. They had board games to play while we were at our table. Food was good, staff was very friendly… I didn’t catch our servers name but all the stars to him and his energy, made my kids laugh!

I wanted a space to get my family and bridal party together to kick off our wedding festivities and try on my dress for everyone! Brandi was so helpful and communicative throughout the entire process of planning and picking out food for the meal. The cheesesteaks, pickle chips, queso, and soft pretzels were amazing. and the FRIES, omg, the best I have had in some time.I definitely recommend Marietta Tavern and Brandi for your larger parties and gatherings. Couldn't ask for a better event and a better owner/host/server to tend to us throughout the evening.

I used to go to this bar many many years ago when it was called the colonial inn. When one of my best friends and I went in a couple of nights ago the place is totally remodeled very beautiful they had a woman singing and a man playing guitar and it was just a really nice setting to be able to sit and talk

We were excited to stop in to this place with being on vacation for a wedding. I heard from a number of friends about the place since it changed ownership from Nick’s Bistro. Growing up in the area I understand that a lot of people in PA just have a miserable presence about them. Maybe we did come in a little early at 1205 and inconvenience the morning routine but the bartender was the absolute rudest human I have ever encountered. I’d still love to come back to my hometown to see the chef Bean sometime soon but will not if customer service like she presented is a regular thing.
