Went to RTB last night as a party of 4 adults & 1 infant as the establishment was loud & very crowded with a party for a sporting event. I was impressed that the staff acknowledged us right away & encouraged us to wait, as the game would be over in the dining area. Clearing out soon. I loved the outdoor area and had wished another fire had been going towards the back of the outdoor dining area but that may have been due to local fire restrictions. Having a 7-month-old with us on a chilly fall evening. It was not a good idea for us to dine outside. We did get drinks outside and the bartender was very helpful and helping us decide. Within 15 minutes we were able to go inside and get a table. I was impressed that our server got our order of appetizers and entrees exactly right without even writing it down. The chicken wings were out of this world and the chicken tender entree was massive! I myself had the black and blue burger with the french fries and thought it was made perfectly. This is a place that I will definitely revisit.

Can’t rate my food because of the outside bugs crawling all over it, I have dined outdoors many times before and never had multiple bees in my food and what appears to be flees all over me and my food and drink. Also, they offered no inside dining, the entire inside was closed other than bathrooms. I left my food on the table. Not one employee questioned our happiness with our purchase. We paid full price and of course tipped, because of guilt that employers don’t pay the staff fair wages. Anyway, my husband said his wings were good but hardly any sauce on them. he ordered chili that was served at something colder than room temp, so he asked for it to be reheated….never saw any chili come back. They did remove that from the bill since he didn’t get it. I personally smacked what looked like flees on me! I have several welts from their bites! They do allow dogs to the outside dining which is fine if you keep up with the fur they shed. Our table had about two big handfuls of long fur clumped around the base of the table. Regarding payment we request to pay in full at the time we placed the order, verbally asked to NOT start a tab, when he asked to have the chili refunded he found that he had a tab. So we went for an outside late lunch on a fantastic weather day, weather was good…food and service and cleanliness was poor. I’m VERY disappointed and on my way home to make my lunch, I would suggest not going to the River Trail Brewing.
River Trail Brewing is a down to earth local watering hole. The staff is EXTREMELY friendly. They are so friendly that when a customer's dog started attacking other dogs, and growling and barking at other customers they smiled and carried on with being nice. The atmosphere is of the "Cheers" bar, it seemed that the bartender knew everyone and they knew him. The food that we got was good, but not prepared as we asked: the burger was undercooked and we got served our appetizer and the main meal all at once. We went on Saturday night and the place was a little empty, the indoor section was closed. They may be understaffed; as we moved around trying to hide from the rain drops and the bad behaving dog and his owner, we noticed that many tables were not cleaned. Down-to-earth: I cleaned our table with the paper towels provided on each table! The beer was great! If you like the local atmosphere of the neighborhood bar, this is the place to be!
Parking: Small parking lot, but plenty of street parking around a block or two.

Let me start by saying the beer is amazing. The staff is friendly The day we were there it was outdoor seating and bar service only. That was fine, but some tables seemed to get service while others did not. We sat at three different tables before we found one that was clean, and even it was sticky. I ordered a medium well burger that was more like medium rare. The appetizer came with the main meal instead of before. The food was ok. They allow dogs, and we were good with that.
However, there were two women with two dogs, and the one was very aggressive. It was growling and barking at other dogs and at people. They sat next to us, and when our food came the dog was at the table. Not cool with that. One patron walked past the table, and the dog was barking and growling. My husband stood up, and the dog barked at him. They never said a thing to the dog and just laughed. They really should have been asked to leave. I really don't think I'll be back.

Super kicked back chill out atmosphere. Kinda beachy rustic outside. Amazing peanut butter burger with jalapeños bacon and cheddar…. Oh it was delicious! The service is phenomenal with Jordan and Anderson and Kenny at the bar! Our drinks never ran dry, and paper towels and condiments already on the counter. Kitchen crew did a great job and we loved the double fried French fries! They even have a Doggy Menu for your Pup! Bravo to the whole crew! Keep up the great work! We’ll be back, with friends! Fantastic people, food and brews!

The fact that this restaurant not only allows my four legged family member to hang on their patio BUT they also provide a menu catered to him puts this place on the short list of my favorites. My guy, Stan, had the time of his life chilling, people watching and then devouring a delicious meal. The human meals were stellar too, but this review is really Stan-focused. Thanks for being open to the whole family. 🐾
