Really nice place! Unfortunately it was rainy so we couldn’t enjoy the outdoor seating. Would love to come back sometime for that! It looks like a really cool atmosphere with the outdoor bar. Our server was Josh, he was very friendly and even surprised our daughter a free ice cream for dessert! Food was great and came out quickly. Bathroom was clean. Our first time here and won’t be the last!
Great place to celebrate Father's Day with family.
Do NOT pass up the opportunity to feast at Alaskan Pete's. The food was phenomenal, the service was incredible and the atmosphere charming. Family-friendly, indeed.
Great stop en route to Gettysburg, in the Poconos area.
Severally overrated. We went for an early dinner and waited forever for our food and then it came out cold. Plus we didn't order much and it was over $100 with no adult drinks. I can go to a nice restaurant and pay the same price for better food. We won't be back.
We were really looking forward to our dinner at Alaska Pete's. What a disappointment. Their fresh seafood was not fresh at all. I had the stuffed flounder, not sure what it was stuffed with but it was completely tasteless. The baked potato had been sitting around so long it was rubbery. The chicken tenders looked like they had been previously cooked then thrown back into the fryer to warm up. Nothing was fresh, it seemed like everything was put under a heat lamp all day. The only bright spot was our server Silva. She was absolutely terrific.
We love this place ! Ask for Krystal she’ll make you fantastic martini :)

Shrimp lobster tail and scallops were good but bland. Didn't taste seasoned at all.

To start off all the servers and wait staff were very friendly and polite. The calamari was good, as well as bread and salad. The entrees however were very disappointing. For $75 I got 2 1/2 pieces of king crab. Some was almost inedible because of how dry and overcooked it was. My husbands lobster was decent but the filet was cold and unseasoned. The quantity nor quality was there for either of the most expensive dinners on the menu. Both having backgrounds in food service, we do not send food back. That being said, we will probably never return to Alaska Pete’s. The desserts were very good and a big size.

This place is absolute garbage, from the orange fast food feeling atmosphere, to the HORRIBLE owners and SOMEHOW EVEN WORSE MANAGEMENT UP FRONT, to the absolutely disgusting food that is just sooooo off seasoning wise ( the burgers almost tastes like if you handed your child all the seasonings, some 3 day old meat, and told them have at it).
But you see.. this isnt your usual review, this isnt just a customer, yet again, complaining about the horrendous mistake they made going here, as the manager responds with snide remarks, filled with sarcasm and despise...oh no! Theres more that comes w this bad boy, my girlfriend of many years actually got a job at this garbage box... and boy is there alot that clearly seethes through to the service.
From the gay, coked out server who bashed my gf into a wall to move her out his way *bc shes in the way*, to the manager with hypocritcal double standards..theres alot.
Well start with the way they tell people that arent regulars to stay up to dress code.. as others dont.. they steal tips from 1 another as well as giving preferential areas away...and even whole shifts!. The manager does methamphetamines while berating the workers.. they also did something very grimey to my girlfriend.. they kept demanding she have open availability throughout the week.. theyd then schedule her 4..then 5 days a week.. ok great.. heres the issue though. Theyd call her out...every...single..day.. and push the can down the road while this woman has bills to pay, they didnt care..its about them!.. shed be scheduled say a monday. Theyd call her out and then schedule her thursday to appease her ..then call her out thursday and say *but friday maybe.. sorry jenny wanted your shift*
. And call her out friday.. then theyd threaten her job if she didnt have availability lol. What job right? Eventually after over a month of leading someone, w kids and bills, on, they finally *removed her from schedule for while*.. gave her false hope shed be to pay bills.. she lost her home bc of this place..
Best advice i can give anyone... do not ever apply to work here...or dairy queen next to it..they own that too... owners just do what manager wants bc they are lazy, mouthy, large italians.
Anyways.. be careful if you decide to not heed my warning to eat or work here.. many people have gotten food poisoning from these people but they just deny accountability.

We have been coming to Alaska Pete's for years now and have never a meal we didn't like, my question to the owner is there is a waitress that's been working there for years as well and I can't remember her name? We recognize each other but see we're coming up the first week of December and I'd like to address her by her name, she is absolutely a wonderful person, very nice how's the family and so on will take the time to chat if she can but her feet are moving all the time. We only come up once a year so if you would be so kind abd leave me a note. Thank you.
Great service staff is very friendly highly recommend trying this place
