“Originally from Carmichaels and live in Maryland now but come to our spring, summer and fall place often and found this gem!!! Pastries, pepperoni rolls and breakfast were all superb. The breakfast was also very good with homemade italian bread toasted (was AMAZING). They also deliver out of state. Their nut rolls and little lady fingers are delicious - actually everything I have had from there is delicious. Ordering for delivery for Thanksgiving. A must try!”

“This was a favorite for my family as a little girl. I was disappointed because I was told the pizza did not change, but it was not at all what I grew up eating. The ingredients were very skimpy as well. Not even a tablespoon of cheese on a slice. Be honest with people and let them know you have changed how things used to be!”

“My co-worker and I order cauliflower crust pizzas typically one day each week from the Lemont Furnace location. The staff is super sweet and always greets us in a happy manner! Being kind goes a long way in the middle of a work day! We are very fortunate to have a place in walking distance that is this delicious 😋 The shop is always decorated so nice for the holidays! “The steak dinner was absolutely delicious and the pricing was unreal! A heavy Hand cut 18oz ribeye was cooked perfectly, with a salad and two side, all for $20 bucks! These Hand Cut steaks Ozy’s are serving are hands down better than the steaks I’ve had at the steakhouses in NYC, Chicago, or Texas! Lastly, the service was awesome and very attentive while dinning.”

“Red Star is a small town bar that has been around since I was a kid, the owner (Serb) is a wonderful man who contributes to the community and is Highly respected in this Area, if anyone has had any problems here then it was your own doing, they are not rude and welcome everyone who walks in the door. If you did have a problem and didn't speak to the owner about it then shame on you, he would have handled the situation. Red Star is a bar to sit down and listen to the old timers talk about the old days, have a drink and yes, smoke a cigarette. We are a small coal mining town who still love the good old fashioned ways of life.”
