“I had worked with the owner and staff to place an order for my daughter’s 5th birthday party. Among the guests included one/more children with special needs, so I needed the food to be inclusive. So, my order was somewhat off-menu, and the owner was totally willing to work out pricing with me. He gave me a great value. He stayed in close contact with me, even when I had to tell him that the party was being rescheduled. His team had the order ready on-time and despite the weather, the food was still hot when I arrived, and everyone enjoyed the taste. If you want to be treated well, I recommend Slice N Spice!”

Great selection of dishes ( including large vegetarian selection). 4 spice levels ( mild, medium, spicy, extra spicy). I got medium and it was a fair amount of spice. Friendly staff. Food was delicious!”

The groom’s cake was just as amazing and such a fun, flavorful addition that our guests couldn’t stop talking about! And the gluten-free cupcakes… wow. I had multiple guests tell me they were some of the best gluten-free desserts they’ve ever had—honestly, you wouldn’t even know they were gluten-free! That was so important to us, and it meant a lot to be able to offer something that everyone could truly enjoy without feeling like they were missing out. We received so many compliments throughout the night about how incredible everything tasted—it was truly unforgettable. Dawn was an absolute dream to work with from start to finish. She was so friendly, responsive, and genuinely cared about bringing our vision to life. Every email was answered quickly, every detail was thoughtfully handled, and she made the entire process feel easy and exciting. If you’re looking for desserts that not only look beautiful but taste absolutely amazing, The Cottage Bakery & Café is it. We couldn’t recommend them more!”

It both looked and tasted fantastic. Our server, who I think may have also been the owner, was super nice. “Stumbled across this gem after a trip to Renningers market. We got the half wrap/soup combo with the chicken Caesar wrap and chicken corn chowder. The Chicken corn chowder is to DIE for! They offer homemade baked goods and healthier options which is always a plus for me. Prices can’t be beat. Our new breakfast/lunch go-to for sure.”

From the start, we knew we wanted our wedding dinner to be from them - it’s one of our favorite spots and very special in our hearts, and they absolutely delivered!! The BBQ pulled chicken and pork were a huge hit with our guests, and the mac & cheese (our personal favorite dish) was as incredible as ever. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly served. Our favorite bartender, Jen, worked that night, and she, along with the entire bar team, were fantastic. The entire staff working were friendly, professional, and kept everything running smoothly all evening. It truly made the night feel extra special having familiar faces there celebrating with us. Coordinating with Jeromy was seamless from start to finish, he made the planning process so easy and stress-free. We wouldn’t have changed a single thing. “My family and I have gone to the Christmas Market at the Steel Stacks the last few years. We've always made it a point to stop by your booth for some delicious wine slushies. Oddly enough, my sister recognized the one lady (Aimee) who actually worked for her kids' orthodontist a few years back! Aimee actually remembered both my niece and my nephew, which says a lot about her customer service. She was also the absolute sweetest. As someone who also works in that field, it goes a long way. I ended up going back at the end and buying a glass to go (shh) and a bottle for later just so we could say bye! Aimee is definitely an asset to Vyncrest!”
