“The food is really good. Steaks are filled. I've been there twice, got the regular cheese steak, and the mushroom one. Both were really good. Service is good but really to the point. Make sure you know what you want before you go up to the counter. Parking is on the main road, so just watch out lol.”

“We're local but haven't been here since it was the old hotel. The renovation inside is really well done. Exposed stone walls and hardwood floors. Music was good and they have a decent sound system. They have a small dining area in the back if you want it quieter.Everything you see in the pics was great except the fries which were underdone and nothing special. 75 bucks for all this plus a few more drinks. Prices were spot on. We'd come back.”

“I have driven by here a several times during the day and had no idea there was a restaurant and bar here. A friend just told me about the Bowers Hotel when I mentioned I was coming up to Topton later in the day. We did stop for dinner on our way and what a wonderful surprise. The food was perfect, large portions, and so affordable. THANK YOU!!! We will definitely be back.The wait time for the dining room wasn't too bad maybe 15-20 minutes. Bar was full. Waitress was nice and knowledgeable. All the staff hustles. It's like eating back in rural Iowa where everyone knows your name. Lots of locals eat here. Just the way we like it. We drive 45 minutes to get here but it would be worth it. The salmon on a salad was really good. I requested greens with no iceberg. My husband's chicken dinner was really good too. The rolls with real butter were worth every calorie. And I couldn't resist the peach cobbler with ice cream. It was huge. Enough for 2-3 people or just for my meal. It was delicious.”

“Simple atmosphere, but welcoming and amazing owner and staff! The food is outstanding, fresh and delicious! We brought a bottle of wine, they corked it and gave us glasses. Try them! You will be a regular like us. We dined there tonight for the first time, we will be back many many times! “This was the best meal I’ve had all weekend while visiting PA from NJ this weekend. The chicken and waffles were the best I’ve ever had! So flavorful and the chicken was the perfect consistency and juicy. Everyone loved the breakfast pizza and was blown away by it. The atmosphere is fun and relaxed with great music and cool decor. “Hands down my favorite place to get Mexican cuisine. It is definitely worth the 30min drive I take to get there. The birria Torta is to die for when it's on the menu, seems to be a seasonal dish get it while it's in season. Take my word for it, it's finger linking good. “My husband and I stopped by on a Saturday early afternoon. I had lobster bisque and it was great. I also had eggplant parm that was fantastic. Huge serving. Our food was hot, service was great. “My wife, my 19 month daughter, and I just ate here. I had a cheesesteak and my wife had a loaded up Bacon Cheeseburger. Both were great. Beer menu was fantastic. Service was top notch. I would recommend this new spot to all my friends and family. Not your typical pizza place. I cant wait to try the pizza. Quality of the food and preparation definetly shows. My inlaws are GF. It's a bar in a college town but you see people of all ages here. They smoke their one meats and do a great job. Where else can you get duck tacos????”

My Baja Fish Tacos had tender flaky fish and light crispy fried batter perfectly balanced with the avocado, pickled onions, and sauce. The roasted veggies served on the side of the Burrito Maya and the enchiladas my companions ordered were tender-crisp and seasoned just right. “I have been stopping by the Java Joint for at least 10 years now. Before that, on my way into the office in Coopersburg, I'd swing by the chains occasionally. And while I do like the coffee at places like Starbucks, I'd much rather support a local, small business. The first time I ever stopped at the Java Joint I was sold. The cappuccino was amazing, great flavor. My usual go to is a large hot latte, no additional flavor, since the espresso has great taste. From a food standpoint, everything has been phenomenal. Their cannoli and bagels are awesome. The donuts that they get from Mary Anne's were a great addition to the line up. They also have great seasonal buys such as fastnachts that you can pre-order. To top it all off, the customer service is spot on. Simply great people that run the stand. I highly recommend trying this place out. I'll usually go for a run local to the area and then hit this up on the days that I drive in to the office. Great way to start a day!”

“Love this bake shop! Nestled in a 1950s style diner, the baking team serves up traditional favorites like shoefly pie and many other treats. They also make wonderful custom cakes. Their banana cake is excellent! There is plenty of parking and the prices are good.”

“Stopped in for lunch and restaurant was busy, but we were seated right away. Service was fast and friendly.My husband started with a cup of soup ( Shrimp Bisque) it was very good. We both had sandwiches. My burger was good ( frozen patty) the fries were delicious! Husband had the Rachel and Dutch fries served with vinegar on the side. Both were very good. Restaurant is in a shopping center and on the smaller size. Plenty of parking.”

“We have been there twice so far and the food,service,portions were all really great!! Today the wife and I had the jeagerschnitzel and black diamond mac and cheese. Got thru half and most definitely will finish later tonight. All made to order...just ask and they come up with a dish you should love. Really close to us and we will definitely go back again.”
