My wife and I come here almost weekly for their happy hour. Staff is very friendly and attentive, food is fantastic and creative, menu changing regularly. Great cocktails, relaxing vibe. We’ve been trying restaurants (moved here recently) but most of the time just really want to come back here. Crispy scallop taco is fantastic and it is always fun to get one of their variations on empanadas or flatbreads are happy hour.

My wife and I come here almost weekly for happy hour and it is one of the few places in Pittsburgh that we've found to be worth making a regular haunt. The food is always reliably delicious. The menu changes frequently (the happy hour apps change daily) and is very creative, and the result is always delicious and satisfying in the way comfort food is--even in the lighter fare. We have simply never been disappointed. The staff are very attentive and friendly, particularly the bar staff. Drinks are great and generous. While we tend toward cocktails, they do have quite a wine list. Unpretentious, they focus on great food, comfort, and relaxation. Don't let the weird location fool you (next to a PennDOT office and a massage place in a strip mall?)--go inside. You will enjoy it. And you will go back.

Stop in with my wife on a Monday night what a experience. We had the world's worst service the food was good the bar was good but our wait staff she was not nice or had any idea what was going on. We did Not Get her name but it dose not matter we will not return

Just went to Blue North for the first time along with my parents. I wish I could give this place more stars!! From the moment we walked in, to the amazing food (I recommend the scallops) Blue North is second to none. I also loved how the owner, G, took the time to introduce herself and make our experience so welcoming. We will definitely be back!

Blue North is absolutely the best spot for happy hour in the North Hills. I live in the city, but I come out here just for happy hour at least once a month. They have a cozy back area with a fire place that I love to sit in. They've got fantastic wines and martinis for $5 Monday-Saturday from 5-7 and also $5 small plates. Sometimes my partner and I come and play cards. The waiters are super attentive and personable. We've also met the owner, who is regularly there and is so nice. I couldn't recommend Blue North more highly. I always tell my family and friends who live in the North Hills about it.

This restaurant is my favored. I visit many restaurants but to this place I constantly return again and again. The crew is very attentive and the food they serve is so yummy. I would always prefer to have a decent dinner in this restaurant. I highly recommend this place.
