“Great food and service! This is a nice little restaurant that really helps keep the North Park feel with all of the plants it has around it. Bring drinks if you want; they only have water, root beer, and tea. Cash only but they do have an ATM inside.”
“I got the Crash n Burn chicken sandwich, and it was UNBELIEVABLY GOOD. The chicken was so crisp and so juicy and tender, the sauce was great too, and the chips are great. I’m not crazy on chips but these are the exception. Wow. Please try this, you won’t regret it. ??”
“I grew up in Gibsonia, and moved into Squirrel Hill a decade ago. It makes me so happy to see a place like this open up, and bring a different type of food to the area. I went here with friends tonight, and was so impressed with everything. The service was great, the owner is so sweet, and I can not talk more highly of the food. This is a huge asset to the area and I wish them nothing but success.”
“I'm so glad I finally made it here! The food is delicious & the service was wonderful. I loved the atmosphere & I hope to sit in the garden once it's warmer outside!”
“Do yourself a favor and order the potatoes, they are crispy and perfectly seasoned. The bread is amazing as are the other Italian baked goods!Dietary restrictions: There are several baked goods labeled nut-free”
“This place is AMAZING! My mom and I are in town for a college tour, and many people were walking around with the ice cream so I suggested we give it a try. Immediately the two guys in there were delightful and very helpful and cheery. The atmosphere was so fun the moment we walked in. The flavors were amazing and I almost couldn’t choose between the Thin Mint and the Pittsburgh Pride. I ended up going with the latter. It is like brownie/oreo/cookie chunks and butterscotch. There might be another thing added. My mom got the pear flavor. We are both extremely satisfied with our choices. They did say that the flavors change up pretty often - for example, they’re getting ready for Blackberry Lemonade. But Pittsburgh Pride will always be available. So if you’re looking for a cute little dessert place after dinner, this is the place!”
“I searched Google looking for doubles, the same ones I get in Brooklyn and came across this Gem! I went in today hoping to fulfill my craving for doubles but unfortunately they’re only sold on the weekends. My second choice were oyster wangz but there wasn’t any today. End up ordering the bowl (with coconut rice stewed soya, okra and chickpeas) fried oyster mushroom sandwich, sorrel wine, tamarind ginger drink and a vegan chocolate chip cookie! My total was $41 which I felt was a great price! I was displeased with the sandwich bc it was overcooked and the small amount of sorrel wine. The taste eas not that great for me but it may be for someone else. The tamarind ginger drink vegan cookie and stewed soya was so so delicious!! I will come back to try the doubles and roti! I appreciated the cleanliness of the small restaurant and the presentation of the food!”
“Every meal is prepared with love, and Kevin will brighten your day with his contagious positivity, joy, and love for life. My cheeseburger and fries were made to perfection, and I will be craving the pound cake for life! I would recommend Kevin’s Deli to anybody in need of high quality food, a good laugh, and uplifting conversation.”
“Always LOVE eating here. 2nd time and it did not disappoint my husband said the brisket was like butter. I love the bay b que bbq sauce and I used it on my pulled pork and I had brisket my son had the ribs he loved it they weren't dry they were moist and he had no problem eating them. The brocolli salad was amazing ”
“Senyai has some amazing Thai food. I really love their Pad Medmamuang. The crispy chicken in roasted chili sauce with cashews give it a superior taste. It’s absolutely delicious and if you like chicken, you should give it a shot. Their Grapow Kai Krop is also one of my favorite. I have tried grapow in other Thai restaurants but senyais just taste better. This time I tried their red curry with tofu. The tofu was so soft and delicious. The curry was okay. They also have the patio open which makes senyai one of the few places in Pittsburgh to allow outdoor seating even in winter. Overall, the place is cute. I recommend making reservations over weekend as it gets really busy.”
“Steve and I enjoyed our Easter dinner at Senti. Chef Antonio created a very fresh Linguine Con Vongole with rapini and brought back his Pollo Valdastana, which was do flavorful with ham and fontina cheese. We enjoyed our time with Holly at the bar and talking with Franco. We just. love the welcoming atmosphere here.”
“Great: service, portion sizes, after dinner cocktailGood: creativity of dishes, taste of dishesOK: price pointEh: it's loud. Ate late on weeknight and it was half fullI think a few of the previous reviews were a bit harsh, but it's the diners responsibility to know going in what menu looks like and what price point is.We had one dish from each "size" and desert and it was plenty of food. Not disappointed we ate there, not sure I'd go again for same menu.”
“They were super sweet and the music was too loud where I couldn't hear my friend talking across the table and she kindly turned down the music. I would highly recommend this little café!”
“My wife, our son Declan, and myself stopped in for lunch around 1 on a Saturday. Service was great and they were very accommodating to our 9 1/2 month old son, providing a high chair as soon as we were getting seated. The staff was very friendly and engaged us in light conversation. We got a medium pizza with italian sausage that was absolutely amazing and cheese ravioli with meat sauce, also very delicious. The restaurant has a very cozy, traditional feel that we loved. Thoroughly enjoyed the visit and mad it was my first time there after living in the area for over 20 years.Kid-friendliness: Very accomodating to our son, giving us plenty of napkins, plates, and some crackers to snack on.”
“Had the 10 oz. Filet, Caesar salad and baked potato. The filet was to salty for my taste.ordered it medium and it seemed a little dry. Looked pink inside but dry. Maybe I should have ordered medium rare. The Caesar salad had very little taste, but the egg was different. The baked potato was very good. They split it between my wife and I. All the toppings were brought to the table.Nice touch. The service was fantastic. Roberto explained all the menu options and was very attentive.”
“it was delicious and they use seemingly high quality ingredients, but this 1 Birria burrito is $15! Take out only.Edit for their response: I understand how overhead and cost of sales works for a business and im not knocking you alone on your prices, more just in disbelief of our current economy. Thanks for the burrito and good luck to you all!”
“Brian was an excellent tour guide and we had a fun time with the group as a whole! We didn't feel rushed and had a decent amount of time to spend at all three breweries.”
“We had such an amazing lunch with Dustin . He may be one of the best servers I have had since before the pandemic. The food was delicious and the drinks were perfect.”
“Best Indian restaurant in cranberry, wexford ,Allison park and gibsonia.Very friendly staff also a best option for non onion garlic food you just have to call ahead to make sure they prepare.”
“Looking for that truly special restaurant? Spork in Garfield is it! I can't stop thinking about our experience at this chef-led restaurant. This isn't just a restaurant, it's a culinary experience. What sets this place apart is the farm to table ingredients and truly special preparations; which creates dishes that are so dynamic and interesting. The team works with small producers, grows some of their own produce + herbs, and mills their own grain for house made bread. My favorite sip was the "So Long Frankie Louise" cocktail and my favorite bite was the homemade bread roll. When you get a reservation here expect out of this world food & service plus:- Truly great alcohol free options including mocktails, zero proof beer & wine Surprise bites throughout your meal.- Lots of choice & small plates - great for the table to try a little of a variety of dishes.- This is such a unique spot to book for that special occasion.Definitely go hungry and be prepared to be well nourished!”
“I walked in and immediately love the quiet and elegant atmosphere. I tried their scallop shrimp risotto, pork chops, tartar, pate. The pork chops were well cooked and tender. But other parts of the chop were a little dry and salty. The risotto was creamy as I expected. The tartar was lean and flavorful. I think the only dish I thought was lacking was the dessert - sponge cake. Definitely wasn’t my cup of tea.The service was amazing and the fact that you get to see the professional chefs move to make these amazing dishes- I love it.”
“Great meal and nice atmosphere. 4 of us split several tapas. Definitely recommend the smoked beef short rib, the pulpo, the beef tartare. Really, everything we tried was delicious. Glad we were able to come here for dinner while visiting Pittsburgh for one night.”
“The dining experience was very nice, staff were very attentive. The quality of food was good, my only draw back was the Kofte was dry and a little over cooked. Loved the rice, grape leaves, pita, and marinated red onions.”
“Cookie cookie ice cream is an amazing place! All of their products are so good, service is always incredible, atmosphere is relaxing. You will bever be disappointed visiting here!”
“This is a must see spot to eat fresh & enjoy great customer service. I’ve personally stopped in just to try one time and keep coming back. Declan is a super cool guy & always interacts with customers and if you’re a regular he’ll generally remember your order. If you ever thought about going , do not hesitate go down there today. Try the pink dragon!”
“Fantastic food and the service is incredible! The meal was delicious from the chips, guacamole, cheese and salsa to the main course. Of course if a restaurant serves fried ice cream, you have to get dessert! 100% recommend trying this place I promise you won't be disappointed!”
“I heard some reviews about this place and had to give it a try. Extremely nice staff, flavorful food made with fresh tasting ingredients. I can tell the owner really cares about the food here it shows. I had the gyro wrap with fries and it was delicious. The house made hot sauce that came with it was awesome and the tzatziki sauce mixed with the lamb was some of the best food I've had. I'd absolutely recommend this place to anyone and will definitely be coming back!”
“Very accommodating and delicious! The owner was a sweetheart. This restaurant was family friendly and had a lot of great options. Get the nachos and quesadillas!”
“Kelly O's is a great, classic diner with big portions of breakfast and lunch classics. They've been featured on Diners, Drive Ins and Dives for their delicious food. I love their pancakes. Kelly O's is just overall a great spot for the essential diner experience.Kid-friendliness: Great for kids!”
“Had a great dinner here. The boom boom shrimp appetizer is an amazing appetizer. I had the cod imperial, and it was tender and delicious. Do yourself a favor and pay for the upcharge and get the brussel sprouts side. You won't be disappointed. The food is pricy but so is everything now when you go out”
