Travel past this place alot. Always wanted to try it. Stopped on a Sunday didn't know they closed at 2. About 20 till went in ordered the special, served us with a smileThe food was delicious and our waitress was awesome. The 4 of us left about 20 til 3. That's when they told us they closed at 2. We apologized but couldn't have been any nicer. We live about an hour away but we will definitely be back.
We are regulars at Johnnie's and I stopped for lunch after a doctor's appointment. I had very good turkey rice soup and a breaded chicken sandwich. Stop by for good home cooking.
We usually have a great experience here but today hubby got breakfast and didn't care for it. The toast was hard but not toasted.....just like hard bread. Said sausage tasted like hamburger. My cheeseburger basket was very good. Took almost 30 minutes to get food.
