“This place looks like a house and a little hole in the wall. My daughter ordered a sandwich and let me try it when we got home and it was so good I drove back a few days later to get one for myself, my only complaint is I ordered it just like my daughter did but the lady(different then the one she ordered from) charged me extra meat and extra cheese. The sandwich had plenty when my daughter ordered, so the one I had was a bit much lol, but i can't believe how much meat they put on this, and it was still really good! The one lady my daughter ordered from was beyond nice, and you can tell she cares about her customers. The other lady not so much. If I based it on the lady that took my order, I would give her 1 star for service. The sandwich I got was Italian white toasted w/salami,turkey,ham, horseradish cheese and sharp cheddar. Spicy brown mustard and mayo. Light lettuce tomato onion and olives. (She 4got the olives) its a deli so they have all the meats! They also have delish kielbasa fresh and frozen. They have drinks and chips to make your meal complete!“

“Thank god I found this place before I left to drive back for Michigan! That sandwich was absolutely amazing, the bread was soo soft, they load up the meat, the veggies are fresh! Don't get me started on the bakery!! Their cookies were fantastic, but haven't gotten to the cinnamon roll yet. They have an icing frosting and a cream cheese frosting for the cinnamon rolls. For cookies I had their pecan, chocolate chip, peanut butter cup, and white macadamia nut and they had so many other ones. They were all so soft and flavorful! Only regret is that I didn't get more. If you are in the area, you don't want to pass up this sandwich and bakery spot! Everyone was so friendly. Thank you!!!“

“Discovered this place by chance, and it was such a pleasant surprise. I was working out of a nearby cafe, but unfortunately they did not have any food and I was extremely hungry, so I looked up any food places nearby. This Deli was only a couple minutes away, and people were raving about the corned beef sandwich so that is what I got. The deli is pretty simple and has some selection of drinks and snacks, but the sandwich corner is very prominent with neatly stacked ingredients and very sweet ladies who are making the sandwiches. The lady who took my order was extremely sweet and nice, and she asked me for my choice of bread, cheese, and toppings. For $13, the sandwich was massive and an absolute steal. I haven’t had any corned beef sandwiches in my life, but for what it was, it was extremely tasty. it came with two thinly sliced pickles, which added a nice acidity to the fatty meat. I was so hungry. I literally ate it while waiting for my bus. Absolutely 10/10.“

“Guido and I were down on Saturday, got couple slices. and I noticed you has a container of tripe in the freezer. That is his absolute favorite. So we buy it, he tries it the next day. He could not stop eating it, he said it is absolutely the best he has ever eaten, he will be back for more!“

“Top 3 favorite sandwich shops in the Burgh!! This place and one other are neck and neck for first place in my opinion. My neighbor and I once a week try different Hoagie Shops around Pittsburgh. The crazy thing is I actually lived 5 minutes away from this place and didn’t know it was there sadly. All those years I could’ve been enjoying this and now I am making up for it haha… The Spicy Italian Hoagie is life changing 😂 … Not only is the food absolutely delicious, but the people are even better! I’ve only been a handful of times and you truly feel like you’ve known them for years!

One of the best parts is their dining area. Which appears to be an old garage and in the warmer months you can sit with the garage door open while enjoying some of the best food in western PA! If you haven’t been here, stop thinking about it and GO. I also must mention their pasta and bread are made in house! The pierogies are out of this world! I could keep going, but you get the idea.

“This location was recommended for a medical school reunion in Pittsburgh by our alumni association. The food was excellent and the portions very generous. We did the family style dining for a large group, and it was very well received. One of my Italian classmates sate the the Cacio e Pepe was the best that he had tasted outside of Milan.
