“If you're looking for the "typical diner" this isn't it. It's small, basic, down to earth. Food is good and the staff is amazing. You're treated like they've known you for years. Hours may vary. But, they're open M-F 0630-2pm. One of the best kept little secrets in Pittsburgh.“

“I hadn't been to this place in a while, mainly due to me living on the other side of town. It was still early so I had breakfast: 2-eggs scrambled, home fries, bacon, toast, and coffee. Portions were both delicious and filling.

I've enjoyed their hotdogs in the past and they are also quite delicious.“

Parking: There is little parking spots so you have to park across the street but it’s perfectly fine!

I ordered the Everyday special: 2 eggs, home fries, their signature chipped ham, & wheat toast, Chipped ham was a little salty for me, but that’s probably how they did it back then. Everything else was good. I got there early for breakfast, as I was leaving, a lot of locals poured in. I see they serve ice cream & milkshakes too. I’ll have to try them next time.“

“Stopped by on a whim for breakfast. I initially thought it was a little pricey for breakfast, but NO! The portions are GIANT! You basically get two meals, one for there and one for later. And the food is cooked perfectly - fluffy eggs, not over or undercooked, pierogoes as a potato choice, and high quality crispy bacon, none of that limp tasteless stuff you get at chain diners. Everything you need is at the table, so no waiting for butter, syrup, ketchup, etc. The service was efficient and Pittsburgh friendly. Highly recommend.

“If you like a hometown, locally owned restaurant feel, this is a great place to visit. It has a bit of a Rustic / Grandma's kitchen vibe. Food is excellent! Omelettes are in my opinion stellar, with the proper amount of all ingredients. Bacon is awesome, thin and crispy, just how I like it! Pancakes are also excellent and super tasty. Overeasy eggs are also cooked perfectly. Carry and Barb are 2 of the best breakfast chefs I have had out, period.. As of 2023 I'm 50 years old so have had breakfast a ton of places locally and nationally. I live about 3 miles away from the restaurant location so since I discovered it I try to stop once or twice a week. Definitely one of Pittsburgh's hidden local neighborhood gems. It is one of those small local places where if you know how good it is, you KNOW, and remember....“

“I’ve been here twice and genuinely think this is one of the best spots to spend a block on. I’ve only come for breakfast, but each time they’ve had eggs, potatoes, taters, fresh fruit, omelets, bagels, cereal, yogurt, and several other options. You get full control over the portion size and can eat literally as much as you want, so I highly recommend coming here when you’re hungry.“

“Char was our waitress tonight after the Pens game. She was so pleasant and good at her job! I did not catch the host's name, she was amazing as well. We first went to the Denny's just minutes away and they told us it would be a 30 minute wait. Well, I'm glad that we left and found these wonderful people! The food was delicious. “I haven't been back to this Dennys since their remodel some time ago, but the breakfast is still the best part of the menu. My friend and I were the only patrons when we arrived, and I think our server might have been having a rough day because they weren't super friendly. But everyone's allowed to have a bad day, right?

They still made sure our food came out Right, checked on us a few times, and got everything right, so I can't fault them.

I had the strawberry stuffed French toast slam and it was so good! The strawberries and cream were so rich I couldn't finish it all.

Denny's also decorated the place for the Christmas season, so I was feeling cheerful as soon as I walked in the door.

Will be back again sometime.“
