“Stopped by Apple Harvest today and what a hidden gem this is. First, the staff recognized it was my first time there and they offered samples and gave me their personal reviews of the bakery items. I tried an assortment of items and was so pleased with all of them. They have traditional bakery items, but with a little flair too. Their glazed donut is in the shape of a square. So a little unique in the creativity. We can’t wait to go back and try some more things.“

“Discovered this place by chance, and it was such a pleasant surprise. I was working out of a nearby cafe, but unfortunately they did not have any food and I was extremely hungry, so I looked up any food places nearby. This Deli was only a couple minutes away, and people were raving about the corned beef sandwich so that is what I got. The deli is pretty simple and has some selection of drinks and snacks, but the sandwich corner is very prominent with neatly stacked ingredients and very sweet ladies who are making the sandwiches. The lady who took my order was extremely sweet and nice, and she asked me for my choice of bread, cheese, and toppings. For $13, the sandwich was massive and an absolute steal. I haven’t had any corned beef sandwiches in my life, but for what it was, it was extremely tasty. it came with two thinly sliced pickles, which added a nice acidity to the fatty meat. I was so hungry. I literally ate it while waiting for my bus. Absolutely 10/10.“

“Very well kept little place with a huge selection of polish snacks, jarred foods, and desserts. I had pierogi and haluski which were both ridiculously good and also reasonably priced. The staff were very warm and appreciative of our business and I just can’t recommend this place highly enough.“

“We love Pirollo’s. The place is small but immaculate. The staff have always been friendly and efficient. The battleships are excellent with quality ingredients. Hours are limited but it’s definitely worth it to make the effort to stop in.“

“I have known Aiman for more than 20 years. His shop provides great value, good food, and friendly conversation. Always customer focused, he offers a great selection of lunch options, made to order tasty sandwiches, daily specials, homemade soups and a variety of breakfast treats for those who start the day early. He has faithfully served his customers for more than 20 years, daily Monday through Friday. He is a great example of a hardworking successful independent businessesman and entrepreneur. It is well worth a stop to enjoy the food fare and hospitality of Monroeville's premier sandwich shop located in the lobby of the medical building across from Max & Emma's.“

“This location was recommended for a medical school reunion in Pittsburgh by our alumni association. The food was excellent and the portions very generous. We did the family style dining for a large group, and it was very well received. One of my Italian classmates sate the the Cacio e Pepe was the best that he had tasted outside of Milan. I would strongly recommend this location for really first rate Italian food and a great atmosphere“

“The Club Sandwich is DELICIOUS. Ask for pickles. The lunch meats are primo, and the hot foods are almost all wonderful. I never had the Hot Sausage or the Paprika Bacon or the Fish, that's why I cant say ALL. Highly recommend. Prices are fair.“
