We were visiting from Texas for our son’s hockey team playoffs and hosted a team lunch. Found Vickey’s - and am so happy we did. Such friendly people, they let me sample some sides, guided me through how much to order, and everyone loved the food. Really reasonable prices too. Based on the reviews, I had really high hopes for this place. The best thing about it was the cornbread. The Red beans and rice was an epic fail. Everything else was pretty mediocre.

I think the portions was too small for the money and cornbread was only 2 fingers and burnt on the bottom! I had the 2 piece catfish dinner with yams and greens and there was to many stems in greens and 4 piece chicken wing dinner chicken didn’t have no seasoning ! Mac and cheese was good! I got a piece of cream cheese pound cake haven’t taste yet ! Service was slow I think you had new servers back there didn’t know what was going on! It needs a little approvement....read full review
