We were visiting from Texas for our son’s hockey team playoffs and hosted a team lunch. Found Vickey’s - and am so happy we did. Such friendly people, they let me sample some sides, guided me through how much to order, and everyone loved the food. Really reasonable prices too. Grilled chicken was incredible, the pound cake was spectacular. We also got the ribs (fall off the bone), pulled pork (they threw in slider buns), mac n cheese, coleslaw, collared greens, corn bread, sweet potato pie and cobbler. The feast was amazing and since we were at an Airbnb we didn’t have enough plates - so the person who delivered our food actually drove back with more plates. We are so grateful to have found Vickey’s and had them cater a memorable and delicious bbq lunch party! Thank you - from the entire Texas Tigers hockey team.

Based on the reviews, I had really high hopes for this place. The best thing about it was the cornbread. The Red beans and rice was an epic fail. Everything else was pretty mediocre.

I was so disappointed in this place!!! The staff was very friendly however they messed up my order and then gave me pork gravy instead of chicken gravy after I specifically asked about them using pork products, and telling them I couldn’t eat it. I was sick as a dog!!!!! Also my wings weren’t cooked all the way, they were kind of “gummy” when I tried to pull them apart. Never again and I mean NEVER!!

I absolutely loved everything I ate here a few days ago. Our server was super attentive and accommodating. The restaurant itself is beautiful. Only negative thing I have to say is dining in I would really prefer to be given real plates and cutlery.

I was at the 807 Wallace Avenue Hosanna House Wilkinsburg, PA 15221 location and when I mean it was a delightful experience, I mean that wholeheartedly!!!!! The food tasted like I was down south and the hospitality was fantastic!!! I had the chicken dinner and the portion size is enough to feed two people. 10 out of 10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
