We were visiting from Texas for our son’s hockey team playoffs and hosted a team lunch. Found Vickey’s - and am so happy we did. Such friendly people, they let me sample some sides, guided me through how much to order, and everyone loved the food. Really reasonable prices too. Grilled chicken was incredible, the pound cake was spectacular. We also got the ribs (fall off the bone), pulled pork (they threw in slider buns), mac n cheese, coleslaw, collared greens, corn bread,...
Based on the reviews, I had really high hopes for this place. The best thing about it was the cornbread. The Red beans and rice was an epic fail. Everything else was pretty mediocre.
I absolutely loved everything I ate here a few days ago. Our server was super attentive and accommodating. The restaurant itself is beautiful. Only negative thing I have to say is dining in I would really prefer to be given real plates and cutlery.
