Kings Family Restaurants

Very dirty and out dated. Food was unpleasant. Ordered burgers and the buns were so stale they crumbled. I'd rather eat McDonald's.

Horrible. Ordered a steak med rare, came well done. Had to ask for the eggs cuz they forgot. I ordered Eggs Benedict and they were out..? Switched to Country fried steak. Overdone and tough. However I hadn't eaten in 36 hrs so I ate half. The servers were nice and she did remove the steak from our bill. She also offered a replacement meal but we declined.

Not good. Asked to return my meal and get something else. Was awful fishy tasting fish and they refused. So I paid 14 or 15 dollars for a meal my dog would also not eat.

45 minute wait for breakfast when the restaurant was dead. The waitress took our order and never checked back with us the whole time. No coffee refill or anything. Food was just ok.

We had the fish sandwich. It was okay, but wouldn't get it again. The onion rings were excellent.

Service was fast ,food was excellent and the Server was friendly and nice.

Would give zero stars if possible. Worst experience in a very long time. Dirty waitresses and two hours to get our food

Ordered French toast got served garlic bread. Garlic bread wasn't even good. Ordered hashbrowns, got served burnt potato. Waitress was a gem ? 0/10 stars don't recommend! Tell the cook to get bent! Hope ya catch a UTI

I grew up in Meadville and Kings was a staple on the hill, just as Perkins was, down the hill. Kings (and Perkins) are perfect representations of old Meadville. Run down, sad, understaffed, empty display shells of their former selves. Absolutely nothing against the wait staff, they were hustling as fast as they could, and I tipped accordingly. We actually went twice last week, orders were wrong both times (completely wrong sandwich, not something small). We didn't even mention it, as it looked like 4 people were running the entire restaurant. But again, the service is not the reason for the review. The place feels like the last 30 minutes of a garage sale. Each time I return "home" to Meadville, Kings gets worse. The interior is not old in a charming way, it's tired and needs gutted.

Very nice place!! Got a BLT and let me tell, was worth every penny had to take half of it home. And not expensive at all.

I only go there for my husband and don't eat. I feel uncomfortable eating at a place that seems so dirty. Some of the ceiling tiles are black from water damage (I guess), some floor tiles are loose, the glass and windows are always smudged and seem to never be clean, there are cobwebs in the corners, some booth seats are ripped. I mean the list goes on. My husband likes their food so I'll give it 2 stars but I just can't take a chance and eat there. I miss the angry mob dessert and the stuffed pancakes.

I love the Meadville Kings! Very good food and great service!!

what in the hills have eyes kind of place is this? good lord. talk about being in a sequel to wrong turn.
