I had the chicken marsala and it tasted like frozen food. The sauce was like mushroom flavored water and the chicken was paper thin with a mushy breading. Everyone in our party stated their noodles were hard and the sauce was tastless. The website does not state cash only and you have to order at the counter. Very unfortunate. We will not be back.

I feel that they should indicate on their website, that it is cash only, and there were no waitresses you had to order at the counter. My friend ordered manicotti and they brought her stuffed shells. I ordered ravioli with mushrooms and spinach and they were it was hard as could be, and the spinach was frozen. We had to order at the counter and the only thing that they did was bring it to our table was very disappointed in the service and the food.

Tough guy owner likes yelling at his young waitresses before disappearing to do nothing elsewhere.

I try to stop in and visit at least 1 non-chain restaurant when I come to visit Meadville. Today's was Mannino's and it was a great choice.

I ordered scallops and shrimp with gnocchi in a pink vodka sauce and was delightfully surprised by it. Tender gnocchi that wasn't overcooked, with shellfish that wasn't overcooked. Often shellfish can either overpower a dish or end up being underwhelming, but this was a very well-executed dish whose ingredients complimented each other perfectly (good seafood was especially impressive to me as a new Englander visiting a landlocked state).

Service was attentive and swift, even with a mostly-full restaurant. The staff stopped by for drink refills and meal check-in, and did not overstay or stop too often. The wait time wasn't long either.

Atmosphere was good too, if a little confusing. The paintings and photographs on the wall tell stories and showcase family members and the local community history. The original industrial architecture of the building shines through as well, adding a rustic, authentic feel to round out the experience.

I can absolutely say that I recommend Mannino's, and if you stop in and get a salad, try their raspberry vinaigrette!

This has to be the worse Italian restaurant i have ever been in. The sause tasted like Campbell's tomato soup. The so called cook was yelling at the waitress. Just all around awful experience.

The sauce (or gravy) is at the level of excellence. This is a must stop restaurant in Meadville.

Best BBQ chicken pizza we’ve had in a while. The lasagna was unique and extremely good. Thank you!

We always loved them. The atmosphere was good and people were nice. If you went in and just ordered take out pizza you are still tested with respect, care, and lots of smiles while you are waiting there.

I picked up two salads tonight for dinner. I had won a gift certificate from a raffle this fall. The salads were amazing! I mean like the BEST salad I have had in forever. It was the Nonnas with marinaded grilled chicken, portabella mushrooms, roasted read peppers, fresh mozzarella balls and Gorgonzola. My husband had the antipasto salad that was beautiful looked like an artist made it. Why I haven’t been to this place in years I’m not sure. I think when my boys were young they didn’t like the pizza sauce. I’m so happy I won that gift certificate because this is my new favorite place in Meadville. My husband and I can’t wait to dine in and try some of their entrees. Plus you can’t beat the price…cheaper than some fast food!
